Kassiah says: This story was rec'd to me by several trustworthy people, so I knew that I had to give it a try. I have a thing for tattward and a pierced tattward sends me over the edge. But do not be deceived; this is not your typical run-of-the mill tatted-up-guy-meets-girl-and-they-are-blissed-out-and-fuck-right-away story. Yes of course Edward is insanely hot and they are both just practically dumbstruck around each other, but they both have such heartwrenching pasts and demons to bear that I wonder if I will be able to stand the heartfail when it comes. HunterHunting is an amazing writer, giving us such rich detail and describing scenes, thoughts, and actions so beautifully. Only seven chapters in, Clipped Wings and Inked Armor leaves me wanting for so much more. Give this story a chance to enthrall you, I am sure you will be marked by it too.

I just read this story after SEVERAL authors told me it was a must read and I have to admit. Even if you are not a tattward fan --- if you like classic broody and filthy :) edward you will love this story!!!
This fic captured my heart and soul a few paragraphs in and now i'm hooked!
This is an awesome story. I thought I'd have a hard time with the tats and piercings but I've grown quite fond of the Edward in this.

Miss G gives us heartfail just about every chapter...the last 2 have been bloody fucking hard to recover from.

Unbelieveably amazing!!!! I can't stress enough how incredibly awesome this fic is. It stole my heart from the first chapter and to this day I squee like a 5 year old when it's updated! Love it, love it, love it!!
