Kassiah says: Even though I love popular stories as much as everyone else enjoys them, I always try to be on the lookout for stories that you might not have heard of. Every once in a while, I come across a little hidden gem that makes me want to metaphorically jump up and down and point at, shouting "here! read this!" to everyone. Expectations of Success is one of those stories.
Bella is a waitress, loving her life and her friends, in Milwaukee (ikr?). Edward is a pianist who moves there to be closer to his extended family after the death of his parents. They "meet" when Edward comes in for lunch one Friday. They fantasize about each other, then finally start talking, and dating, and...
I love how realistic this story is, yet it doesn't boggle us down with real life problems. It's fun and almost fluffy. They are adults who want each other and go after what they want. Both of them are ready for more in their lives. LASMKE offers EPoV every couple of chapters to catch us up to what he's feeling and rather than finding it repetitive, I think it's insightful and usually funny as hell.
Um, ok, first, Mr. Cullen? Why do I find that so fucking hot? And, second, take advantage of me? Yeah, awake, asleep, dying, in a coma - it’s never taking advantage. Trust that. I pretty much am the happiest man on the planet right now and if she wants proof I’m awake, then god damn it, she’s going to get it.EoS has one of the only Tanyas that I have ever liked, a sweet and funny Edward, and a strong and snarky Bella. They have funny banter and share dirty jokes. And not gonna lie, this girl can write lemons. Sweet, hot, deliciously juicy lemons.
I flip us so that she is on her back and I grind my erection between her legs. Her panties are soaked and it’s all I can do not rip them off and dive in. “Does it feel like I’m awake?”

WOW! This is just a serious privilege. kassiah, thank you for putting my little story up here. I didn't know anyone before getting into fanfiction and I've already met so many great people. And, fucking yes, my story is fluff and a happy go lucky walk in the park. *wink wink* I leave the hard core psycho analysis, mentally unstable, deep shit to those who know what they're doing. (That's not me. I know my limits. LOL)
