Pwns of the Week – 2/23/2012

Every week, we mention the stories that are pwning us~fics that we are just so darned excited about, we can barely think of anything else. We asked you to tell us what’s pwning you and you answered! The top five plus five randomly chosen (using random.org) make up this week’s TEN FICS THAT PWN YOU!

539 Minutes by: CaraNo
Summary: It starts perfectly on this September morning. A young couple, very much in love, living on Manhattan. It’s the 11th day of the month. The year is 2001. A two-shot. BPOV and EPOV.

Why this fic pwns introvertsinvade: This has been on my mind since forever. The 9/11 event was one of the most heart-breaking happenings I’ve seen all my life – prolly ’cause I’m only 16.
Anyway, this story relays Edward and Bella’s life in those times. It comes from both point of views, so it actually made me feel what was really going on. CaraNo made another short story worth reading over and over.
I cried together with B on this part -
“Watching people fall. Jump. Choosing a quick way instead of the… other way.
Those were the thuds I heard earlier. People.
And I cry. I sob into the arms of a stranger. An older lady, mumbling to me in another language. Caressing my filthy hair.
I cry because I know where that plane hit. I cry because the 96th floor was…
“Please, Edward,” I cried, watching through a blurry vision as large pieces of debris falls down the South tower.
Two planes.
Two towers.
He has to be alive. He has to.
He’s going to be a father.
Please, God. Save him.
I cry out.
A deafening roar drowned out my cry then, and we all look up to see…
… the South tower crumble. ”
Terrifying. Frightening. Gloomy. And most definitely sad. All these unhappy feelings are in a whirlwind. And so are the tears and rubble in the story.
I hope you get attached to this just as I AM. Until now. :)


A Forbidden Love by: TwiLoverSue
Summary: Fleeing her father’s attacker, Bella masquerades as a servant while she awaits Lord Carlisle’s return, only to have Lord Edward decide to protect the new maid by making her his mistress. With her reputation ruined, all appears lost…or is it? AH EXB HEA!
Why this fic pwns Anonymous: It’s good. It’s one of those stories that keeps you on the edge of your seat waiting for an update. If you’re thinking something along the lines of “oh no, not another period fic” or “the summary says HEA! I won’t read it”, I’d suggest you think again. That was exactly what I thought when I stumbled upon this. And after the first few chapters, I was honestly glad for the guaranteed HEA — that’s pretty much what keeps me from tearing my hair out between updates.


Blood & Glory by: drotuno
Summary: The definition of a mercenary is a soldier for hire. His crew are trained fighting machines. Hers are smart PIs. What happens when they need each other to survive? Canon couples. AH/AU/ Rated M for lots of reasons, including violence and lemons
Why this fic pwns Anonymous: Edward is a mercenary, Bella is a private investigator, and their paths cross when she gets in trouble – it’s got just about everything from angst to romance to action, and it’s a nice change of pace from the usual. It’s like a rollercoaster that goes from suspenseful to hot and from sad to sweet, and it’s one of those fics that will keep you reading. It’s complete, and actually it’s the first in a series, so you’ll have great reading material for a while.


Honeymoon Suite by: TwiliteAddict
Summary: NOW COMPLETE! We all wailed a collective ‘ugh!’ on the fade to black scenes during Edward and Bella’s honeymoon, not to mention the frustratingly limited Jacob POV. This canon story fills in all the holes that were left by SM — mostly from Edward’s detailed POV.
Enjoy a captivating look at the romance, emotions, music and imagery of Bella & Edward’s honeymoon, the struggles of the pregnancy, the bliss over Edward hearing the unborn child’s mind, the harrowing birth, and finally Edward’s joy as he bonds with Nessie during Bella’s transformation.

Why this fic pwns LadyLawyer: After watching and rewatching BD1, both at the movies and on DVD, I decided to revisit some of the BD-AU stories that had been in my favorites for some time. Honeymoon Suite was completed in December and I just read the last chapter then. But, I had lost touch with the entire story. So, I downloaded Honeymoon Suite to my Kindle, activated the text to speech, and listened to this wonderful story read to me in a male Edward voice. I was so hooked I could not turn it off. The birth, transformation, and Renesmee/Edward scenes literally brought tears to my eyes and a lump to my throat, even though I knew what was going to happen. I was also amazed at the medical expertise included in the story that made alot of what happened in the canon book make more sense. After finishing this morning, I knew I had to make this post to encourage others to read or re-read this fabulous story.


Lessons Extracted by: MissWinkles
Summary: Long time platonic friends Edward and Bella look to solve their cash-flow problems by making an adult movie together. The two have always been comfortable with each other, but will they be able to keep it friendly when the cameras roll?
Why this fic pwns Anonymous: Lessons Extracted is hilarious and *bonus* its complete! I just reread it this week because I needed some fun in my day and I seriously laughed out loud like an idiot at work. I would normally have never given a crossover a chance, but I’m so glad I did! I’ve always been a sucker for stories where E and B start out as friends and then it turns to something more, but in this story- the nerdy Edward, the ridiculous dialogue, and the cast of characters they get get for their “project” makes it one of the best out there! Go read it, it deserves more reviews and you won’t be sorry!


Never Enough by: GrayMatters
Summary: Bella & Jacob’s 15-year marriage is over & Jacob moves on into the arms of another woman. Bella isn’t sure how to move on with her life. When she meets Edward Cullen sparks fly, but can she take a chance? Or will her fears keep her from what she wants?

Why this fic pwns rabia: It is an amazing love story as well as a family building process of two broken hearts. Edward and Bella are both divorced and don’t know how to act against their attraction. In the end, they fail and then begins our journey. It is not only lemons, not only cheesy lines or not only angst. It has everything that makes you smile and tear when you read a peaceful story. I couldn’t stop reading until I read the last chapter. I hope you give it a try too. Have fun!


The Better Angels of Our Nature by: Lissa Bryan
Summary: Bella is a powerful telekinetic, escaped from a government research facility. With her is Edward, her guardian angel, sent to earth to protect her. Can they find safety? Can Bella love this extraordinary creature? OOC/AU Rated M for all the good stuff.
Why this fic pwns Ally: I started reading the story without reading the summary first, and boy am I glad, because that would have sent me running for the hills. To sum up, Bella has telekinetic powers, Edward’s her guardian angel, and they are on a mission from God, along with a few friends they picked up on the way. It sounds kind of outrageous, doesn’t it? But then, this is coming from the same author who wrote about an Edward with a tail and made everyone fall in love with that story, so you can rest assured it’s great. Especially Edward the Guardian Angel is absolutely adorable – he has wings. And he preens them. Also, he gets excited about almost everything, which is lovely to read.
The story is complete (only just recently finished, actually) and it is definitely worth a read!


The Education of Renesmee Black by: taoist elf
Summary: Between an idealistic milquetoast mom, a telepathic dial-tone dad, what’s your average teenaged immortal girl to do? Or worse, how does her twenty-something imprinted Wolf survive it? Well, as usual, it’s complicated. Isn’t it?
Twilight – Rated: M – English – Romance/Humor – Chapters: 8 – Words: 40,829 – Reviews: 159 – Updated: 2-21-12 – Published: 2-11-12 – Jacob & Renesmee C./Nessie
Why this fic pwns Decca: Your eyes do not deceive you; I am recommending Jacob/Nessie (or Rennie, as she prefers to be called in this fic). Don’t let the pairing put you off, give taoist elf’s version of the half-vampire a try.
Fair warning (and the clue in the summary is pretty clear: post-BD Edward and Bella don’t come off particularly well. In fact, many of the themes the author explored regarding that relationship in “Be Like Water” are touched upon here. After that epic angstfest, taoist elf promises a “lighter touch” and a more “romantic feel” in this one.
And oh my lord, the intensity, the yearning, the sexual heat that this fic is drenched in will be worth your while. Jacob is the epitome of the gentle giant with a dark side, radiating warmth and (more or less) patiently suffering through his imprint’s adolescence. Rennie struggles to get out from under the wings of her creepily overprotective family and to come to terms with her feelings for her best friend/uncle.
This summary makes it sound pretty straightforward; well, it isn’t. The depth of feeling and the complexity of emotions is what really makes this interesting and I urge you to get over to this story and just read.


The Selkie Wife by: Lissa Bryan
Summary: Set during the reign of “Bloody Mary” Tudor. Bella is captured by Edward to raise his daughter. He promises to release her one day, but will he? Court intrigues and danger around every corner. Can they, and their new-found love, survive? Rated M/OOC/AU
Why this fic pwns CRob25: I can’t say enough about The Selkie Wife, or Lissa Bryan. She takes our favorite duo and throws them into a world of blood, magic, royalty, and romance. The amount of research and detail in every chapter is reason enough to read, but the way she blends Edward and Bella’s love story into history is something you cannot miss out on.


Unbecoming by: BookishQua
Summary: In the aftermath of her divorce, a heartbroken Bella Swan looks for danger to give meaning to her life. If only her hot ex-husband would stay out of the picture.
Why this fic pwns KeeWit: I was in a fanfic rut the past few months. Every story just seemed like the same thing over and over again. This story brought me out of that rut. It’s refreshingly unique and really intriguing. I’m not sure yet exactly what’s going on, but the author is revealing the plot details bit by bit, preserving the mystery. This Bella is tough. Edward is … well, right now he’s a pain-in-the-ass. It seems he has a good reason for acting that way; we just don’t know what that reason is at this point. I can’t wait for the next update to see what happens.

It doesn’t matter if it’s already been rec’d by us or not; all we ask is that you do not submit stories that are currently in a contest or up for an award and that the fic is posted on a site that is available to the public for viewing. That’s it :)

Dusty by: YellowBella
Summary: She loves him. He loves her crazy. She’s a hopeless romantic. He’s just hopeless. She’s afraid to let go. He won’t let her. A story about a silly girl in love with a foolish boy. Here, forever is a lie. TeamBella23 – the realist and YellowGlue – the poet

Why this fic pwns tara: Strawberry-blonde hair and marine-green-blue eyes. Nail polish and delicate dresses. THIS is our Bella. So far we’ve gotten to peer into the pre-teen life of such an innocent and dainty Bella. She’s just moved into town and immediately becomes friends with blue-eyed, blonde-haired tomboy, Alice. Edward, aka Dusty, is Alice’s slightly older brother whose always quick to tease, console, then share secret rendez-vous in the middle of the night while the Cullen family sleeps. Everything has been innocent so far, but you can tell Edward’s just biding his time while Bella grows a little older. After all, she is his “pretty, pretty princess baby”.
It’s hard to explain how awesome and simply SO interesting this fic is. There’s the opposites dynamic of Alice and Bella, the Cullen vs Swan family, Edward’s tough delinquent friends vs Bella’s younger clean cut. Profanity, wealth, under-age drinking, weed– this is the Cullen family. A home with no rules, but parents whom adore Bella like their own.

“I have something for you. Actually, I have a couple of things for you. One of them is from me, Petey, and Ben. Do you want it now?”
I shrug. “Sure.”
“Come on.”
We hold hands for a half of a moment.
The four of us are in Edward’s room; I love the familiarity. The window is open and the TV is off. The three boys sit in front of me.
“What are you guys doing?” I ask, totally confused.
“Only a couple of hits. Don’t get her too fucked up,” Edward says, placing a joint at the corner of his lips.
Petey and Ben do the same thing.
I giggle.
All three of them light their lighters at the same time. “Happy birthday, princess-baby,” Edward says, taking a deep hit.
Petey and Ben take hits, too.
All three of them hold the smoke in their lungs, coming a little closer, a little closer, and a little closer, until they are right in front of my face.
Edward holds up his hand, counting: one, two, three.
On three they blow smoke in my face.
They do it four more times.
“Oh my God,” I say, falling back. My hair fans around my head; my arms are extended at my sides.
“Dude,” Pete chokes, really smoking now. “She’s so fucked up.”
Edward leans over me. I want to kiss him. “Are you okay, baby?” he whispers very, very quietly. Petey and Ben are out the window.
“I feel tingly.”
Edward laughs, taking my hand. “Don’t say shit like that to me, Bliss. You’re too young … you have no clue.”
He helps me up. My heart is racing. I ask Edward if I’m having a heart attack. He tells me no, you’re too young to have a heart attack. I remind him that I’m thirteen. He says exactly. Edward pushes me onto his bed. I hold my dress down. He’s beside me. “I can kiss you like she does,” I say, looking up at him, biting my bottom lip.
“I know you can,” he whispers, keeping quiet.


Lost in Orbit by: FrozenSoldier
Summary: Tragedy strikes when you least expect it to. When there’s only one person who understands what you’re going through, do you let them in? Do you let them heal you, even when it seems impossible? All Human: AlicexJasper.
Why this fic pwns Aly130: This is one of the few Alice/Jasper stories that I adore. It’s a shame if you haven’t read it already. It is excellently written and it shows the two of them in a different way. Jasper is the new kid, and Alice has a boyfriend, but when tragedy strikes, she finds a friend who is there for her and who understands her in Jasper. Then there is the gang. Emmett, Rosalie, Edward and Bella. The story switches POV’s which is one thing that I really like, because it gives us the opportunity to see how the rest of them feel about the said tragedy and about Jasper and Alice. FrozenSoldier has this gift at showing feelings, really when somebody was sad, I bawled my eyes out and I laughed myself to death on April Fools day for example. The characters are lovely, too. They like come to life in this story. Then there are the original characters, like Jasper’s mother or Jasper’s sister, the story shows what’s going on with them, too. I just can’t get enough of this story, and I can only recommend it to everyone.


A Slow Boil by: kts
Summary: Bella’s an exchange student hoping to find a job to keep herself employed for the summer so that she can stay on at an exclusive University. Her best job prospect is a part-time housekeeping position with one Mr. Cullen.
Why this fic pwns KeeWit: A Slow Boil is full of lemons: lemon pound cake, lemon sorbet, and crab cakes with lemon-caper butter.
We’ve all heard that the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach. This is a how-to manual on seducing a man:
“Mr. Cullen, may I please have another scallop?”
The corners of his mouth turned up and he picked one up off his plate with his right hand and brought it to my mouth with his fingers. His thumb was in my mouth when I closed it, and I couldn’t help but lick it as he pulled it out. Then he lifted his finger to my mouth and I licked it clean as well. He briefly closed his eyes.
Even when the story doesn’t revolve around food, it’s still all about taste:
He looked at my mouth and stepped even closer, the look on his face intensifying. Determination mixed with something predatory, that was it. He cupped my face and leaned down to me, saying in a low voice, “forgive me for this, but I have to know.” His lips met mine, so lightly at first I barely felt them, just touching me with his mouth, not really kissing me. He brushed them back and forth over mine, then pulled gently on my bottom lip. My lips parted and he kissed me for real, pressing harder, moving his mouth over my bottom lip, sucking it lightly, then moving to my top lip, then both at once. My hands came up to his shoulders, holding onto him, returning his kiss, my mouth opening to his. I could taste brandy on his lips. His hands slipped down to my neck at the same moment his tongue entered my mouth and I stifled a small groan as he pulled me closer to him, the pressure of his mouth increasing, the sensation of his tongue stroking mine quickly going to my head.
All too soon he pulled away. He looked down at me, his thumbs caressing my throat. “Delicious, just as I thought.” I felt his hands leave me and he straightened. “Thank you.”
The recipes made me groan. So did Mr. Cullen.


A Wilderland by: phoegurl
Summary: Bella Swan has a destiny. A hunter of the dark, she was always meant for the world they tried to rip away from her. When her past refuses to stay past she finds herself in the fight for her life. AU-New Moon. Things have changed.
Why this fic pwns Whiskey: I love New Moon AUs. Really really love. So when I happened upon a teaser for “A Wilderland” on Fictionators, I squee’d a little bit, and then I got down to reading (hey, dont judge the squee, New Moon AUs are a bit hard to come by!). And it’s good. Really really good! phoegurl manages just the right balance of humor and action, and she’s a newbie author so give her all sorts of love. And also SPOILER ALERT Bella is a slayer, which is just made of win.

An Italian Winter by: Raum

Why this fic pwns TwiArcady90: A handsome and mysterious neighbor who has the habit of playing piano at night…A brilliant and lovely high school teacher who seems to hide some dark secrets…Italy…Winter…
Are you curious to know what I’m talking about?
Well, you’ll have to go and read “An Italian Winter” by Raum. An intriguing story I fell in love with immediately from the first chapter.
Edward is a vampire whose existence has been predicated on revenge. He finds himself in Italy, living alone in an apartment and playing piano at night. Till one day, his neighbor, Bella, decides to go and pay him a visit in order to make him stop this habit of his. She would like to have some sleep after all, without melodies intruding her dreams. What happens when Edward opens his door to Bella? And is Bella ready to face her snarky neighbor?
I so love this story that I find myself waiting anxiously for the updates, in order to see what will happen next. Raum, author of the highly known “De Immortalitate,” is a brilliant writer who captivates the reader into this new adventure with Edward and Bella, two characters who are bound to conquer your heart. And for those who, like me, love literature, you’ll find great suggestions at the end of each chapter about books and works that play an instrumental role in the plot. Read the story, leave a review and you’ll receive a little gift from the author! ;)

Breaking News by: WriteOnTime
Summary: Two network news anchors. One desk. In a race to get the story, love might become the headline – if they don’t kill each other first. AU/AH Canon Couples, smart people, particle physics, and tap dancing.

Why this fic pwns rabia: Edward is world-famous photo journalist who lost his best friend in one of his assignments. Bella is a production member of a TV Channel’s news. When the anchorman dies, Bella is given the position together with Edward. These two co-anchors share not only news but also love. But their love isn’t the only thing in this story. Our duo try to save the world from a diseaster that is about to happen in CERN Switzerland. Alice is their only source to solve this problem. It is an hilarious story. Amazing dialogues, sexy banters, action… And for more, you should read it! It is one of the original stories in fanfiction world:)

Off the Record by: belladonna1472
Summary: “Friday, November fifteenth, 2024. Palo Alto, California. Interview with Edward Cullen, brother of missing New York Times journalist Emmett Cullen.” When reporter Bella goes on assignment, what complications will arise? ExB, AH/AU.
Why this fic pwns Amber1983: So many reasons. Firstly, the basic premise of a near-future dystopia caused by massive financial crisis is both frighteningly realistic and utterly captivating. Secondly, the haunting, claustrophobic atmosphere is so artfully described you can almost taste it when reading. The majority of the story so far has unfolded in one room, and just between Edward and Bella, but you can feel the fear, sadness, snippets of humour and sexual tension in every sentence. Finally, my favourite thing about this fic, and also what I loved about belladonna1472’s The Cullen Campaign, is the beautifully drawn characters. This Edward is absolutely fascinating; cynical and harsh in one moment then broken and vulnerable in the next. Bella is also complex – innocent and naïve in some ways but also strong-willed and determined. The dynamic between the two of them is brilliant and belladonna1472’s signature clever and snappy dialogue, along with a huge dose of UST, has the reader waiting with bated breath for what they are going to say or do next. I’m completely hooked.

One More Chance by: tpec1991
Summary: When Edward&Bella met it was love at 1st sight. On their wedding day, Edward makes a huge mistake. Hurt, Bella runs away w/o a trace. What happens when years later he runs into her and discovers that she’s NOT with some1 but also she’s not ehmm… ALONE?
Why this fic pwns LissLove: Poor Edward is completely devastated in this lovely story and it really made me cry. It is only 5 chapters on its way, but I’m already begging for more. This is tpec1991′s first fanfiction, a great debut. The writing really brings along the emotions and you’re under Edward’s skin in a matter of minutes.

Proud: Fictionista Witfit Prompts Winter 2011:2012 by: jennde
Summary: Based on Fictionista Workshop’s Witfit prompts. There’s nothing quite like a man who works with his hands for a living. AH, OOC.
Twilight – Rated: M – English – Romance/Drama – Chapters: 28 – Words: 42,386 – Reviews: 1555 – Updated: 1-16-12 – Published: 12-7-11 – Edward & Bella

Why this fic pwns Decca: I resisted reading this because I thought it would read like a writing exercise. Worthy, but not too engaging.
How wrong I was. It’s not like that at all. The story is intriguing, the characters are fascinating. Edward dropped out of college to take care of his daughter and he is working hard to give her everything he can. His care and love for her are beyond touching.
Bella is introduced as the rich, bored housewife whose kitchen he is remodelling. It is quickly apparent that there’s much more to it than that and her backstory is still mysterious by chapter 28.
Their relationship is intensely unspoken, tentative and fragile. This is just lovely – go read it.

Seeing Bella by: sherryola
Summary: Alice has a vision of a girl with no vision. She will either save Edward from his life of lonely brooding, or she will destroy him with his destruction of her. Can Bella discover the Cullen family secret if she can’t see? Canon vamps and couples. AU
Why this fic pwns DaniWtihGreenEyes: Sherryola has written a beautiful story (and still writing, 45 chapters in) about a blind Bella moving to Forks and meeting the Cullens. It’s a spin on canon but so much more. The love story that evolves between Edward and Bella is so beautiful I melt reading them together :) She has taken the story that we love and made it her own but still paids homage to classic Twilight Saga moments. This Bella is someone you can love and respect the whole time and Edward is just Edward, still the swoonworthy vamp. And the best part no need to worry about a love triangle, Jacob is a character I can actually like. And if that doesn’t sell you (hehe) reading this story for Charlie will. He may be one of the best Charlie’s out there (in my opinion) and he’s a written tribute to sherroyla’s father. This story has everything: vampires, werewolves, nomads, drama, fighting, love and no babies (hahaha). There are many times I wished Twilight was this story. I could write pages and pages (don’t believe me, ask her, my reviews are novels haha) of why Seeing Bella pwns me but I think you should go check it out yourself.

Strange Brew by: Magnolia822
Summary: Soon-to-be college senior Bella Swan needs a summer job. Edward Cullen needs a worker for his new tasting room at Cullen Creek Brewery. She doesn’t know much about beer, but she knows how to push his buttons. Romance/Humor, ExB, M for Lemons/Language

Why this fic pwns rabia: Edward is on the edge of a divorce with Victoria and in this process, Bella begins to work with him. She is a student working for beer tastings in Cullen Creek. The attraction between these two and their secret love during divorce process create a great story. I highly advice you to read it, you won’t regret it:)

Pwns of the Week – 1/12/11

This week, we only had three pwns submitted, so instead of filling in with Sailor Moon slash fics like Kass threatened, we decided to just post these three! We want to remind you that the pwns are reader-submitted, meaning we do not necessarily know anything about any of them. :)

We have a couple of quick announcements!

  1. Kass still has eleventy billion books from when she went to ALA this summer. She’ll be going back next weekend and since her hubs is close to calling up Hoarders, she wants to move some books. Check out her list on this page of her blog to see if you want anything.
  2. Fictionista Workshop is gearing up for its Spring Collective. If you want to whip your OF into shape, think about joining them! Here’s the form.

Why this fic pwns Adrastae: This is a vampire AU story that is amazing, original, and has kept me up the last few nights as I catch up. Bella and Edward are together as they are in Twilight, but the author plays up many of the negatives in their relationship rather than romanticizing them; Edward’s controlling nature, the way he belittles Bella, Bella’s lack of self, etc. Edward has Bella spend time with Jasper in order to see what being a vampire is really about – or so it seems. The more time Bella spends with Jasper, the more she realizes that so much about the vampire world and the family she’s joining has been hidden from her. I find it more suspenseful than angsty and it is very well written. There are so many fascinating plot twists and I find myself as frustrated, confused and enamored as Bella as each lie is uncovered. Even if you’re a diehard E/B reader, this one is totally worth reading.


Transcendence by: Savage7289
Summary: Ehd doesn’t know how the woman ended up in his pit trap, he just knows he wants to protect her and provide for her in any way he can. She sure does make a lot of noises with her mouth, though. Caveward is born!
Why this fic pwns OprahWinfrey: Caveward? Really? How far could you possibly go with that? That’s what I thought initially, but I read it anyway because the summary sounded batshit crazy. After greedily devouring all fifty-two chapters in in one sitting, I am a convert. Transcendence is sweet, sexy, hilarious and original. Caveward is totally clueless when it comes to women. But he tries so damned hard! No faster way to a woman’s heart than a freshly slaughtered boar, am I right ladies?


Demons by: See Them Fly
Summary: Everyone has their own demons. When Bella wakes up next to her ex-boyfriend’s brother, both are forced to confront their demons from five years ago in order to move into the future. All human. OOC. Rated M.
Why this fic pwns Aly130: This is an AH, Jasper/Bella story, as I’m obsessed with those. Even though it’s a WIP and we have a while to wait for an update, it is definitely one of my favorites. I’ve read lots of stories with different Jaspers, but this fic portrays him the way I’ve always imagined him. Jasper is one of the reasons why I’ve re-read this story like fifty times, but he isn’t the only one. I love this fic so much because it is AH, it has all of the Cullens, Carlisle and Edward are showed as bad guys, one thing that I can’t help but love, Rosalie has a kid and she is Jasper’s sister, it has Peter and Charlotte as Jasper’s friends and Bella is… well, she’s Bella. A bit different than canon Bella, but still Bella. This story seems to be developing a little slowly, as I still don’t know if Bella and Jasper are going to end up together, but See Them Fly has a unique way of making it lovely with its slowness.
I promise you won’t be disappointed!

Her only hope is Carlisle. But when she arrives the Mansion, she finds Lord Edward instead of Lord Carlisle. What will happen to her until Carlisle’s return? Will Edward be capable of protecting her? Or is it Edward that she should be protected from:)? It’s an amazing story… I couldn’t stop reading and spent a sleepless night! This will be your best new year present, start reading my friends… The passion between a commoner and a Lord is something that you don’t want to miss:)

Awake in the Infinite Cold by: quothme
Summary: Sometimes the fruit is forbidden for a reason. A mélange of Twilight and How to Be, with an Artward who so carefully and so softly sneaks under her skin and into her soul. Not your typical E/B romance. Complete.
Why this fic pwns KeeWit: This story is haunting. I am not a talented enough writer to do justice to it. Everything I tried to write here just fell far short of communicating the effect it had on me. I won’t claim that this story will change your life – just that it changed mine. I eliminated certain words from my vocabulary, because to continue to flippantly refer to something as retarded is now unimaginable. I changed my behavior and resolved to notice those who are often dismissed as unworthy of our attention. It’s not that this story made me feel bad about myself – it just made me want to be better.

Dinner Reservations by: quietruby
Summary: When dinner isn’t the only thing on the menu… AH; BxJxExL
Why this fic pwns MissCherrie: Mmkay…so, this fic is definitely pwning me right now. Like many of you I’ve read a LOT of fic, so finding something half way original is difficult. But quietruby has sucked me in with her daily updates and unique plot. I’ll tell you, being a strictly canon girl, I was a little freaked by the pairing in the summary and even more so once I read the first chapter…but of course things are not what they appear. At first it seems like this is going to be some kinky swingfest between 2 couples, one that everyone wants except Bella. Infact just the suggestion sends her reeling, but she reluctantly agrees because she thinks this is the only way to save her marriage. Then things really get crazy and secret truths and hidden motivations are revealed and poor Bella is knocked on her ass for the second time in as many weeks! The potential for angst seems high, but I’m confident there will be an HEA. So if it sounds like your thing, go check it out and send quietruby a little love!

Echoes of the Storm by: Bedelia
Summary: Secrets have a funny way of making themselves known. Jasper’s biggest secret — something painful and important and soul-deep — screams itself from the rooftops when a human with no memories and a familiar face shows up in Forks. AU.

Why this fic pwns Decca: An interesting twist on the possibilities of the human Bella / vampire Jasper romance. It starts out with an easygoing, harmonious feel with hints at things to come. Towards the last third of the story, it turns into some excellent dramatic action. It was a great read, nicely structured and gripping.
And yes, Alice and Edward are together. And it works for me :-)

Little Green and Easybella by: BettiGefecht
Summary: Bella and Edward have met before. She only remembers a silent kid; he doesn’t remember her at all. Years later they meet again & feel a connection that isn’t of this world. Original “Cherry Exchange” contest entry, now extended. AH. ExB.
Why this fic pwns KeeWit: You know those stories that are so much better than their summaries suggest? Well, this is one of them. One of BettiGefecht’s readers, sharkjumper, created a summary that does a great job of conveying the depth of emotion in this story: “functional aspergers with a bit of age gap thrown in and a dash of overripe innocence so fucking ready to spill over.” Yeah, that just about says it all.
I want to take this Edward and hug him and never let him go. He has been taught to use peoples’ facial expressions and other signals to help manage social interactions, which leads to a lot of very funny situations:
[Tanya's] reaction is unexpected and confusing. She doesn’t take my hand but curses at me instead.
“Hot damn!” she blurts out.
“I beg your pardon?” Have I messed up already? What did I do wrong?
I cast an anxious glance at Bella. She’s smiling. It can’t be that bad then.
“What Tanya is trying to say, if I may translate for you, is that she is pleased to meet you, too, and she thinks that you, uhm… have matured nicely.”
I must have looked somewhat quizzical, because Bella adds, “In Tanya speech, you know, ‘hot damn’ means that you’re easy on the eye or something along those lines.”
Okay, I get it… it was a joke.
But then Tanya says, “No kidding, dude!”
No joke? Okay. I don’t want to appear rude, so I return the sentiment, using her very language code to be on the safe side.
“Thank you, and… hot damn back at you.”
I’m pretty sure that, by common standards, she passes for an attractive woman. Many men like big breasts, and hers are enormous. Judging by the way she’s showing them off, she must be very proud of them. Tanya seems to go to great effort with her outer appearance, so she probably likes to hear that people acknowledge the result.
I cheer for every one of Edward’s triumphs, and I feel his anxiety when things just don’t make sense. I am incredibly emotionally invested in these characters. I really want Little Green to have a happy ever after with his Easy Bella. If you read this story, you will want that too.

Raw by: XquisiteProdigy
Summary: Entangled in a world of sex & corruption, Isabella is enthralled with her new employee, Edward. With the gov’t on her trail, she is now exposed b/c of her illegal business & shady family. Can she discover a path to happiness, or will she be left raw?
Why this fic pwns Jessie K.: I looked at my computer in shock. There was no way I was reading what I was seeing. But I was. Everything about this story sucks you in. Literally. Isabella, not Bella in this fic, is a pimp. Edward is her whore. Rosalie is no longer the bitchy girl. In fact, she’s Isabella’s secretary that pleasures her whenever she pleases. If that wasn’t enough, Isabella’s family is Italian and has a political con background that we are just now getting a peek into.
I am speechless and completely absorbed. Are you reading this? I want more, more, more!

The Butterfly Effect by: LyricalKris
Summary: Edward’s fall from grace destroyed not only his life, but the lives of those he loved the most. When he passes out teetering on the edge of total destruction and wakes up 17 again, how many times will he have to repeat the same day to set things right?

Why this fic pwns Andrea: I’m kind of in love with this. The plot is unlike anything I’ve read before.

The Girl by: dolly3078
Summary: In a world where vampires rule and humans are kept as slaves, Bella is gifted to Edward Cullen when he saves her master, Aro. Problem? Edward hates humans and promises to be a cruel master.
Why this fic pwns Kerry: This is an AU story that is so different than anything I have read. Vampires rule humans in this story and Edward can be a little harsh (he has his reasons) but he doesn’t drink from humans. Bella becomes his slave and she is a bit different. I can’t really say much more about the story because I don’t want to give anything away but is was an incredible read. The author did an incredible job. It was very well written and the supernatural aspect of it drew me in and I couldn’t put it down until I finished the fic. Oh, and it’s complete!!
Give it a try and you will not be disappointed!

The Gym by: Blueopal Writer
Summary: Bella&Jacob are keeping their relationship on the downlow to hide from coworkers. While attending the gym, Bella makes a new foe. What happens when the foe turns out to be more helpful than he is hurtful? Full of twists, dark secrets and lots of LEMONS!

Why this fic pwns rabia: If you love some action in the story apart from romance and smut, this story is what you should be reading! Jacob is a sweet looking guy but has another agenda. Edward looks like a mysterious man but you’ll never know the truth! Who is the bad guy in this story? It’s for Bella to learn:) This story has an original plot and different from all the other similar scenarios! I’m glad that I found and read it… You should give it a try, you won’t regret:)

Im not very good with summarise but hope you will check it out!
