Kassiah says: Dude. Seriously. Shadowboxer is in my top ten faves of all time. Like if I was going to a deserted island and could only take a couple of things with me, Fightward would totes be on the list. The official description is pretty good, but it does not convey how fucktabulous this story is with its drama and character development and my god the lemons make you want to slap your mother. And the things that Edward says to her…just read it. NBNF has also provided her readers with a few outtakes in KO’d in Shadowboxer. Read it. Right now.

MF’er says: Kass sent me to read this after she slapped her mom…and Guh, what can I say that she didn’t already? The possessive Fightward and vulnerable Bella make a great pair… They both have mysterious pasts that lead them together and they form an instant bond after Bella finds Edward beaten in the locker room of the gym she’s just began working at… Takes him home and doctor’s him up. Which leads to the mama-slappin-sex…and a bit of an emotional ride that you don’t want to miss out on!!

Kassiah says: I have to admit, I am not familiar with the movie or the comics or anything like that. But I like this story. It is mysterious and gritty and sexy. Namariel has also provided an outtake, Booze Broads & Bullets.

MF’er says: I’m not familiar with the movie either, but I’m absolutely enthralled with this story. The different POV’s and the entire story is just amazing. It takes a lot of concentration on my part, so I tend to save updates until I have absolutely NO distractions because I don’t want to miss out on any of the goodness.

Kassiah says: This is a story that I really like because it deals with such real emotion. At first, it just seems so fun. And then it quickly sucks you in to all of the drama and you are like wtf? I didn’t see that coming! This story is long (as of right now, over 227K words) but worth it if you are looking for a romantic, lemony drama with lots of funny antics and love. There is angst, but not horrible hf that makes you want to fling yourself from a building. Oh and she totes incorporates the many uses of the Tantra Chair and Tongs, so just for that, it is worth your perusal. I read a couple of stories by E, but this is the one I started with. I also really like Up to Speed, Punch Me, Love Me, Save Me, The Beautiful Hitchhiker, and her new story, Training the Swan. Whew, I read a lot!

Kassiah says: At first, I didn’t want to read this story because I am a diehard E/B shipper and refuse to broaden my horizons, even if The Arrangement includes Edward and Bella. But I decided to give it a couple of chapters. Oh. my. god. manyafandom is such a wonderful, descriptive writer. The characters are funny and it is lemony and they have such a camaraderie that you can just feel their devotion to each other. Just beneath the surface, there are so many conflicting emotions, and I just want to hug everyone and be like the Oracle and tell them how to make everything better. This story is amazing and I am so glad that I didn’t listen to myself and gave it a chance. You should do it too.

MF’er says: I was like Kass, I didn’t actively seek out any non canon pairings at first, and I think this was my first. Hope has written this so well and I find myself loving these characters quite a bit. The raw emotion starts with their amazingly close friendship…and continues into the arrangement between the three of them. Each one of them is experiencing an emotional roller-coaster between the sex, and the feelings of love and the confusion that it results in. You’re definitely missing out on something great if you haven’t read this.
