Forget Me Not is another great story by the lovely and talented SydneyAlice. This is the story of amnesiac Edward who wakes up in the hospital with no idea how he got there or who he is. Bells is the nurse who cares for him and, despite being advised not to, takes Edward in to her home and helps him find work.

This Bella is not your typical shrinking violet, she has a past she’s not proud of but she’s overcome and made a nice, quiet life for herself. Because of her past, Bella is leery about getting involved with Edward, not knowing what type of person he is, but his kindness toward her and her family has her falling for him.

Edward begins to remember bits & pieces of his life and comes to realize why he was found near a river left for dead. This realization and the ensuing re connections that are made with people in his past puts not only Edward but Bella and her family in danger. In the end, all works out for the best and as in every one of her stories I’ve read SydneyAlice gives us a happy ending and NEVER disappoints. On a side note, I was so happy to find out that SydneyAlice has a book deal to write an original work of fiction which I will be in line to buy as soon as it hits the book shelves!!

I love pretty much everything that SydneyAlice writes. At just under 80K, this story is a quick read, but has great characters and an awesome storyline. There’s a little angst, drama, mystery, and lots of love. That’s one of the things that I love the most about Sydney’s writing.

We were so close, closer than we’d ever been. Her body was warm against me, and my eyes flickered down to her lips.

“I’m afraid now,” she murmured, her gaze darting between my eyes and my lips.

My hand cupped her cheek as our faces drifted closer.

“I don’t want you to be afraid, Bella.”

Her eyes never left mine as she took my hand that was pressed against her cheek and placed it against her mouth. I gasped as her soft lips brushed my palm. It was the briefest of touches, soft and gentle and coaxing, but it was enough to make me beg.

“Do you have any idea how much I want to kiss you?”

Her teary brown eyes suddenly sparkled brightly.

“Do it,” she whispered.

I love how hot this story is, though the focus certainly isn’t on that. I love how these characters are adults and make every effort to communicate with each other. I love this Charlie and his relationship with Bella and his granddaughter. This is definitely a story that you don’t want to miss.
