Kassiah says: Ah, high school fics–my true passion. I love them. So many of my friends told me to check this fic out and I am so glad they did. This story is sweet and I love it already. Right away, from the very beginning, Bella saying this to her father grabbed me and held onto me:
“Dad, I’m a sixteen year old girl, confused about life and social expectations, simply attempting to navigate my way in this ever confusing world while discovering myself and trying to maintain a healthy self image. A large variety of clothing and shoes helps me search for my true identity while at the same time providing an outlet for self expression and creativity. Plus it makes me look cute.”
It is refreshing to me to get a Bella like this. She’s a normal teenager, and I love that about her. I also love the realism through which Edward deals with his feelings. He is no overconfident teenager; he struggles with his feelings and with real issues. Plus, he is fucking hot when he touches himself and the way he comes up with her nickname is so cute. And he sings. ::swoon::
If you are looking for a story that is sweet, romantic, and funny, give High Anxiety a try. I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised.
