Kassiah says: Wow what can I say about this fic? I want to say, from the viewpoint of a new reader who was looking for a Twilight fix, I didn’t want to read this story based on its description. Which is kinda the point of this whole blog, besides helping you finding out about stories that you may not have heard of. I didn’t want to read a story about an Edward who had been with anyone or really loved anyone other than Bella or vice versa. But boy was I wrong. This story is mature and romantic and emotional and my god, the lemons, wow. It deals with so many issues but most of all, like the description says, shows how two adults find love again after everything goes to hell. OOE even has a couple of HOFY Outtakes. Check it out, you won’t be sorry!
MF’er says: I’m completely infatuated with this entire story. OOE has managed to make me cry more times than I can count… and though I complain to her in my reviews a lot, I really do love the emotions she’s able to pull out of me. I love the fact that it’s set so close to my hometown and that she mentions some places that are absolutely my favorite in the world (Santa Cruz, hello!). To me this is a very real situation that could happen to any of us and it really hits home that we shouldn’t take for granted what we have because we never know when it could be gone. I send this to everyone who asks for rec’s and every single person comes back to tell me how much they fell in love with this Edward (I like to call him Dr. Sexy) and the kids in this story. As Kass said, you won’t be sorry after reading it!
wandb says: This story is just *sigh*- SO SWEET! Edward and Bella are recovering from some very deep emotional pain and find each other. Their lives are complicated and yet they have a deep connection. This story kept me on the edge of my seat wanting more (and I’m still dying for the next update). The lemons are hot, the emotions are real and the characters are completely endearing. There is a reason why this fic has over 13,000 reviews. It’s a must read!
