Homeless is one of those stories that will unexpectedly reach out and grab you and catch you by surprise. It’s no secret that I love Charmizane, but until now, I’ve never read anything by written by her. So, I went on a fic dive and came across this delightful story that is so not what I was expecting.

The air was feeling a bit crisper lately indicating shorter days and long cold nights. I didn’t think I’d ever be warm again.

At least I was free.

Edward is homeless, and in love with Bella. She wants him, too. But there are…complications.

“I wait for the night to fall so that I can come and see you, the days have been so long.”

They want to be together, but he can’t risk being caught.

I spoke into her neck. “You know I can’t, I’ll get caught, I’d be locked up, it would be the end of me. I need my freedom.”

“I know, I understand.”

I can’t give away any more of what happens, but suffice it to say that you seriously need to read it. It’s such a twist, and I love it so.
