Official Description: Victoria reflects back on the last 10 years of marriage to Alice as she prepared to commit to the love of her life once more. Femme Slash, lemons.

Kassiah says: You all know that as a general rule, I don’t read slash. With the exception of my favorite lesbison story, I am generally squicked out by femmeslash. If I hadn’t been willing to overlook all that, I would have missed out on this fabulous story.

This O/S, featuring SkanktoriaVictoria and Alice, takes us through ten years of their relationship, from getting married to having kids to rededication in an emotional, dareisayitit romantic tale. I know what you’re thinking: Are you fucking kidding me with this, Kass? No, no I’m not. How Many by MsKathy takes on difficult topics like same-sex marriage, dealing with pregnant hormones, and how having a (non)supportive family can impact your view on things. Truly, it’s well-written and full of femmeslashy win, and has everything that I love in a story (except E/B lemons).

It has sweet moments:

“Baby?” I said softly. She turned and looked at me. We each had tears in our eyes. “Will you marry me?”

“Thank you for being everything to Alice.”

It has super hot moments:

“Hell yes.”

“My eyes closed, the sight of her too much to take in with the sensation of her ministrations. She was vocal, moaning and humming against my flesh. I opened my eyes briefly and realized she was touching herself as she loved me.”

It has funny moments:

“Brat,” I tease, and we giggle together.

It has serious moments:

Ten years ago, it was giddy, excited love. Today, it’s time and love, emotion, experience, and resolution.

I held Alice that night as she alternated between tears of sadness and rage.

It also tells us that Edward and Bella are happy, and together. That’s something that I am so grateful for.

How Many is exactly what I want a O/S to be: a short story that I can delve into without too much commitment, allowing me to read a genre that I wouldn’t normally read and not get too emo about it. The bottom line is this story is hot as well as thought-provoking. Give it a chance, you won’t be disappointed.

Thank you for reading this, Kassiah, and for enjoying it. I know a lot of people shied away from it simply based on the pairing, and I appreciate it when people take a chance outside of their comfort zone. Thank you.
