Goldenmeadow‘s writing style to me is magical, electric and simply sublime. To me she will always be my slash cherry popper, so cherish that honor Miss Rie. Her characters seem to come to life with the imagery she puts in a mere word.

Incarcerated is a dark A/U story and one of the first slash stories I read, at Rie’s suggestion no less. Thank you Miss Rie.

I was sucked into this story for the pain I felt for Edward, living on the fringe of his family, alone. Hating the life that was thrust upon him.

The story focuses on 3 characters: Jasper, who is involved with Alice but has secrets of his own and whose mind Edward cannot read and Alice who can read every tainted thought Edward has towards Jasper. And Edward of course…sigh

“Turned on, as never before, and tumultuous, I listened as long as I could bear to Jasper’s tumbleweed voice. The pleasantries spewed forth like so much unnecessary bullshit when I just wanted to bring this man, this Jasper, into my arms, up the staircase, and into my bed.”

Edward suffers through months of restrained lust for someone he feels he can never have. He in turn dives deep into a friendship with Jasper and it is his undoing.

We learn of the brutality Jasper has endured and his own ghosts that haunt him and have made him the man he is.

The erotic way in which these two are dancing around the obvious want for each other is so titillating.

Somehow capable of movement, I bracketed one hand against the killer erection that was a titan in my trousers, and made my way to Edward. With one hand on his chest, I cupped my other around his balls and gathered the cum that had laced its way below. Brought it to my lips and savored his flavor before backing out his room.
The agony that Edward endures to stay away from Jasper is heartbreaking
