ThisColony has the ability to convey so much characterization and emotion in her writing you keep coming back for more. Salacious has a great balance of angst and humor; the author writes both genres so well that you enjoy each of them equally. Another facet of this story that stands out for me is these characters are so multi-faceted and unique – simultaneously strong and broken at the same time, they make the story deep and rich. I highly recommend this fic.

Normally I shy away from stories that have non-canon pairings(understatement of my life), as this story appears to have at the beginning, but I could not stop reading this story once I started. It has drama and angst galore but is so meaningful and should definitely be added to your list.
