nicnicd says: Every once in a while, when the drama and angst and heartfail get to be too much for me, I like a nice serving of fluffy, sweet fun to read. Likable characters, an equally likable plot-line, and a bit of a geeky Edward, a yummy Jasper (whoa, did I just say that?!) and I’ve got a new happy place to hide from the heartichokes.

Seeing Their Future is just that. Told primarily through Alice and Bella POV, this is a fun, light hearted time.

Alice, a Life Coach in Chicago, gets a call about a new client, Bella Swan. Bella is a successful author who has a bit of a dilemma–her professional image and self esteem is lacking, causing her to give bad interviews and not present the best face to her public that she can. She isn’t your typical Bella though–she doesn’t fight tooth and nail about her short makeover, but rather she embraces it. She just never had anyone to show her how to ‘be a girl’.

Esme, her editor, sets out to fix not only this problem, but to help her son out as well.

Edward is a computer software developer. A literal genius, he flew through school, graduating early but not learning much about how to be sociable or presentable in the process. His company is about to go big, and his over grown beard, dirty sneakers, and stained shirts are not the way to usher in an adoring public. He’s shy and awkward, and utterly adorable.

If she said anything after that I couldn’t hear it. As we walked out the door of her office, my gaze had been caught by a pair of sharp, bottle green eyes. I froze like a deer trapped in a pair of headlights.

He wasn’t handsome by society’s standards, but there was something about him. His lips were full, the lower one sticking out like a child having a tantrum. His jaw was firm and set, covered with more than a day’s growth of hair. His posture was rigid, hands clenched in his lap. He wasn’t happy to be here. His eyes looked me up and down before they widened and dropped to the floor. His cheeks flushed with color, and caused mine to mimic him.

Aww! Blushing Edward, excuse me while I squee!

Jasper, Edward’s lawyer, is a delicious bit of scrumptious and sets his very…determined sights on Alice. Their interaction is full of UST, and damn entertaining to read. Alice is charming, and I love her POV. It’s nice to see it be such a central part of the plot, and equally great to see Edward and Bella’s relationship through some one else’s eyes.

The author is funny and sweet, and paints her picture with lots of humor and heart, so go give it a read today, and leave her some love. It’s sure to make you smile!

MF’er says: What can I say that Nic didn’t already cover? Shy, nerdy, computer geeky Edward is like my kryptonite and when you add in a fucking adorable and feisty Jasper? Pure win.

I can’t wait to see where Edward and Bella’s relationship is headed and I definitely cannot wait for this…

“Come on Alice,” he whispered, nipping at my ear once more before spinning me around to face him. His hand cupped my face as he smiled at me tenderly. “Let me feed you and then maybe you can take me to your office and let me bend you over the desk like you promised last night.”
