Sideline Collision is no exception and it does not disappoint. Set at FSU, our Edward is the fuckhawt starting quarterback of the Seminoles. He rules the field AND the ladies. He’s cocky with a capital C.
“Sweetheart, take a poll around campus and see if anyone in their right mind would say you bring more value to this school than I do. Whatever fucking instrument you play surely isn’t as important as what I do.”
“I bring in millions of dollars, baby. They aren’t coming to see you toot your little horn.”
He literally runs into our Bella on the football field…Bella’s in the band, The Marching Chiefs. It’s not a “meet cute” because both of these characters have fire! Bella, soon-to-be-known as Reed Girl, appears NOT to be charmed by the jock who bumped into her and broke her reed. Banter ensues. Locker room shenanigans may or may not happen.
“So, how are you going to talk me out of my panties?” she asked.
“Well, I don’t usually have to talk a girl out of them. Generally, they come flying off along with the rest of her clothes.” It was nothing but the truth, after all.
Reed Girl doesn’t trust Mr Hot QB as far as she could throw him…and if you know anything about superstar football players, she probably shouldn’t. But, maybe he wants her to trust him.
“I don’t think you know a whole lot about respect, Cullen.”
“You don’t know me, Reed Girl. You don’t know me at all.”
Sideline Collision is 8 chapters in right now. We’re meeting the supporting cast of crazy characters (Hello Jasper! ha!) and seeing how things play out with Cockyward and Reed Girl. I’m hoping for a big Touchdown! *winks* Think he’s going to make a Pass! He may go all the way! (hehe sorry for the bad sports puns)
I love everything that Nolebucgrl writes. I love this story. I love Edward and his cocky attitude. I love that Bella is feisty and doesn’t back down. I love Jasper. I love the lockersex. I just love it all. Read it
