The Girl Next Door, told from EPOV, starts out with Edward thinking about his neighbor, Bella. She is beautiful and such a great person. She also gets off in her shower rather loudly and frequently. After realizing that she doesn’t have a boyfriend and hearing her call his own name, Edward formulates a plan to get to know her better. And boy, does he get to know her better!
One of the things that I really love about this story is that it is so expressive. The way that Edward describes his feelings as he experiences them is fantastic. Bella seems to take on the typical Edward-role in her attention to him.
It was a very sweet and intimate moment, yet the ridiculous erection I’d been sporting for the better part of the night was still painfully there, only inches from Bella’s face… from Bella’s lips… from Bella’s mouth…
“You don—“ Her eyes suddenly shot open, blazing with determination, startling me. My hand fell limply to my side again.
“Don’t! Don’t lie… you want it. I can see it. Just feel,” she implored as she kept her gaze on mine. Slowly, torturously so, she lowered her lips to my awaiting member. And just before she made contact she whispered a breathy, “feel.”
