MF’er says: This isn’t for the squeamish as it does contain some serious subject matter, but Lily has done a masterful job of writing about a very sensitive subject for a lot of people (myself included). She’s turned it into a story for the other side of a situation that I never would have imagined. In this fic, I find myself sympathizing with Edward because of what he’s been through with every chapter, and wishing that things had been different for a man who’s innocence and childhood were truly ruined because of one stupid night. It turned him into a man that he never should have been. I’m looking forward to watching him grow as a person now that he has Bella in his life and seeing what the future will hold for them with the obstacles they’ll no doubt have to face.
