Kassiah says: I found this story when I was validating entries for the Indie Awards, and I am so glad! I was immediately mesmerized by the romanticism of this fuckawesome fic. The story begins at Edward’s wedding to Tanya, a girl he met six months ago. Time passes by and he is stuck in a loveless marriage and finds his only solace in his church. When Tanya tells Edward she wants to have a baby to keep up with his siblings, he knows something has to change. Fate nearly literally sweeps him off his feet in the form of klutzy, engaged Bella. A chance meeting in front of a bookstore leads both of them down a path that neither expected.
Their initial meeting is one of the most romantic I have ever read. When she questions him about being married, he simply tells her, “I was too impatient, Bella.” They are both determined to rectify the situation they are in; she calls off her engagement and he makes plans to be with her as well. There are many obstacles to their relationship, including his family, his faith, and her impatience. PlayitAgainSam weaves a tale of two people so desperately in love and so determined to be together, they will do whatever it takes, consequences be damned. This story has an original plot, great depth of character, and incredible emotion. This is a story you must check out.
