Wandb says: At first the idea of Jasper and Bella together was upsetting to me. It was not only her love for Edward that bothered me, but also her friendship with Alice. However, the author does a great job getting the reader past that. The story unfolds nicely with a friendship that is very meaningful and special to both characters. They are able to fulfill needs for each other that no one else understands. When it moves beyond that, the characters address what I would expect to be real issues between the two of them. It was very believable. It’s not all fluffy, which I liked. The characters are forced to look at themselves and their relationship realistically. The love story that unfolds is wonderful and I couldn’t stop reading. Even at the end, she kept it real and left me wanting more.
