I consider myself lucky when I catch that tweet or post that mentions something someone else liked. I’ll click on it, hoping for something good… and when I find it, it’s like WOOHOO *fistpump* all up in caren-land. That’s what happened today! For weeks now I’ve been telling myself I needed to read Once More, With Feeling but I keep getting sidetracked. So here was my chance to dive in and read something by the same author, and I’m so glad I did!
I say this all the time, but one of my favorite things to read is unrequited love. Friends who become more… It just makes everything so much better when it finally happens. Especially in this case, where the happening is not only funny as hell, but hot too.
WhatsMyNom does an excellent job of capturing the want Bella’s developed throughout her friendship with Edward. Her use of descriptions for the simplest things will make you smile and grin and perhaps even moan a little. One example is this:
“So you want me to… have loud sex?”
His eyes twinkled. “Exactly.”
“With who?”
His cheeks colored in an utterly enchanting blush, like little apples I wanted a bite of.
Oh, did I mention Edward blushes? *kryptonite* And remember the moaning I mentioned? Oh yes… Who knew faking it could turn into something so good?
“Goddamn, Bella,” he breathed. “How the hell can you faking an orgasm be hotter than other women actually having one?”
