MF’er says: Thank you to Ady for her recommendation and her guest review this week! I found this story via the Twilighted boards and was hooked from the start. There are a lot of similarities to Gregory House in this Edward and since that happens to be one of my favorite shows, I was very impressed. Socact’s knowledge of medicine impressed me and the story itself left me very moved. It’s completed now and I miss getting updates for it, still!

Ady says: You may wonder who’s this “you”? Edward? Bella? I guess we don’t really know. Who needs to be saved? Who is the savior? Maybe a little of both of them. Edward is a doctor. A House-like doctor. He doesn’t deal well with people, but he’s good at what he does for a living: saving them. Making diagnoses. Bella is a doctor. A pediatrician. She does deal well with children, she’s good at what she does for a living: saving them. Giving them life again. When she suffers a mysterious disease, will he be able to save her? Socact is a med student. Trust her when she’s telling us medical stories. She totally succeed in making us understand the technical issues, even if we’re not used to that. The characters are strong and beautiful. As is the plot. And it is very well written. It’s totally the kind of story that haunts you for hours after you read it. Ok, I have to admit, I’m having a hard time trying to find the right words to express my feelings concerning this story. I don’t know what I could write to make you want to read. But I also have to say that I’m jealous of those who haven’t read it yet. Because months after the last chapter, even if I have read hundreds of stories, it’s still the one which can make me feel so deep about two characters.
