Jasper and Edward find in each other a mutual attraction. Klytie writes the inner turmoil of both men coming to terms with this attraction very well. Her writing has such a beautiful quality to it and she goes to great length to keep the language in keeping with the time period. I highly recommend this to everyone.

starfish422 says: I found Thank You, Elvis, fairly early on, when the second chapter was posted. I was intrigued by its description as JxE slash, as it is otherwise reasonably in-canon – it’s vampfic, beginning when Alice and Jasper first show up at the Cullens’ front door. As I began to read I was drawn in by Klytie’s very enjoyable style of narration. The story, told from Edward’s and Jasper’s POV, contains some interesting period vernacular (explained in footnotes at the bottom for those of us who weren’t yet born in the 1950s, LOL), and describes beautifully the inner struggle of both men as they come to grips with what is “proper” behavior between men, both what reflects the periods in which they were born as well as the era during which the story takes place. Somehow, this little gem remains practically undiscovered; and I hope Klytie soon gets the recognition she deserves for this lovely story.
