I ordered a mango mojito and prayed — sometimes mojitos are disgustingly minty, or have the wrong balance. This drink was so fantastic, I can’t even tell you! It was gone in under 5 minutes, and even my husband commented at how great it tasted. The mango flavor was fresh and fruity, and the mint was a lovely background flavor, not too overwhelming. I wasn’t sure how the mint and fruit would go together, but it was perfect. Give this drink a try, at home or out, if you like sweet (but not cloying), fruity drinks. Be sure to use fresh mint, and muddle it properly in your glass. This is a great tutorial & recipe/portions for making a mojito. For the mango, mine had a mango syrup (so there was no added sugar) and mango rum. The ingredients listed on the menu are Cruzan Mango Rum, fresh mint, fresh lime, and mango syrup.

My fic pairing for this is something that makes me think of summertime. Just like the mojito, it’s sweet without being coying, and has the perfect amount of lightheaded happiness.
