lambcullen says: I was trawling through Fanfiction only last weekend. I wanted something different, and damn, I found it with this little gem. The summary instantly caught my eye. “First things first, stay calm. We’re all going to die someday.” With a line like that, I simply had to continue. On its most basic level it reminds me of the TV series “Sliders”. As in, there are many different parallel universes, and it is possible to move between the different ones. The major difference here is that there’s no special gadget to get from one to the next. You have to die, or rather commit suicide to get there. Sounds bleak, I know, but it’s really not! It’s certainly not a premise I’ve ever encountered for the characters, but that makes it so much more intriguing. Edward wakes up after each attempt in a different room, with a different version of Alice, Esme, or Jasper, but he remembers many aspects of his ‘original’ life, or does he? The girl in the red hoodie pops up randomly, trying to help him on his journey. At the end of each chapter I find myself picking my jaw up from the floor, and that doesn’t happen often with fic’s for me. You can tell the author has plotted this perfectly. With scientific calculations and theories included along the way. However you won’t get lost with the lingo, because anything remotely scientific is explained in a little author’s note at the bottom. Anybody who I’ve recommended this to has adored it. I don’t think anyone will be sorry starting it. Just hold the hand of the girl in the red hoodie next to you and come along for the ride. It’s definitely going to be fun.

mozzer0906 says: One of the things about Suicide King that drew me in was that it was completely different from everything else I have read in the fandom. It is built around a lot of theories about alternate universes and sci-fi principles that will leave you amazed at the level of research that NightShade713 has poured into her story. The fic is extremely well written and definitely leaves you wanting more with each chapter you read. She slowly reveals the basic premise and you scramble to try to fill in the blanks and figure out exactly what is going on. The Bella/Edward relationship in this fic is also unique and something 8 chapters in we are still learning more about. I recommend this when you are in need of something for a refreshing and enjoyable change of pace in the fandom.
