Prostrate in Prada by MsKathy is an intimate and sexy look into the the life of Edward and Bella. From Edward’s POV, we begin the story learning that he is a lawyer and has lost his second case of the week then forgot to pick up milk on his way home. And he suddenly realizes he’s going to be punished.
He actually considers going back to his car and driving back to the store, in order to circumvent said punishment, but then reminds himself of the comfort that comes from his relationship with his wife Bella, whether punishment is involved or not.
The guilt I’d feel at the lie would eat me up inside, and besides, I never lied to her. Ever.
These two have a solid bond of love and trust that we often see described in fanfiction, but MsKathy has a way of showing as much as telling that leaves you with a sense of satisfaction and warmth that is unparalleled in most storytelling.

The visual of him crawling to her without hesitation or fear is stunning; he’s crawling to her for forgiveness, yes, but also refuge and comfort, and you can see and feel his need rolling off of him.
While there is a constant sense of connection and desire between these two, Prostrate in Prada
isn’t a somber or serious piece. It’s sexy, of course, but playful, too.

I would love to be a fly on the wall with these two. Damn. I mean, just imagine how much fun it would be to watch them play–the sexiness and playfulness. Besides, who doesn’t love it when Edward’s all smirky?
Throughout the entire scene, you can feel how much he wants her, as she denies him what he immediately hopes for. She anticipates his base desire, but gives him something he wants probably even more than what he originally thought of, and certainly what she gives him is what he needs.
My fingers tingled, almost trembling with the need to do something other than rest at my sides, but my brain over-ruled them.
I just love the undercurrent of almost uncontrollable desire he feels for her, yet he trusts her implicitly, and she trusts him, so neither of them will ever cross the boundaries they’ve set together.
