Bella is happy to finally not be the fresh meat at Forks high with the arrival of Edward Cullen, the new doctors golden child from Chicago. She’s instantly intrigued by the guy. He’s quiet, doesn’t make eye contact and stammers when anyone talks to him. Upon the arrival of the new guy a mysterious podcast hosted by “Happy Harry Hard-on” pops up in Fork. Harry spanks it… a lot and generally bitches about the lameness that is Forks.

Harry and Bella’s alter ego “Poetry Lady” flirt and tease each other into a frenzy, as Edward & Bella work on a project together. Bella begins to become obsessed with both Edward & Harry, a feeling drawn somehow to both. She’s on a mission to figure out who Harry is:

So Be It is short, sweet, funny and hella steamy and smutty. Really, there is no reason for you not to read it. I guarantee you’ll love it. Originally written for the Steamy Movie Crossover contest, SophiaAnne expanded it, fleshing out the story and adding a very healthy dose of UST and smutty fun times. Her smutty parts are lyrical and tingly:

Kassiah says: One night on twitter, people were tweeting about a #readalong, and I thought what the hell, I’ll give it a try. A few hours later, I was completely enamored by So Be It, the fic that was chosen–so much so that I actually got mad at manyafandom for not telling me about it sooner. (I later apologized, since it was my fault for being an observant ass–she had tweeted it and rec’d it all over the place). I can’t think of a better fic to have experienced for my first #readalong.

Like manyafandom said, So Be It is a crossover fic, and I certainly haven’t read many of those. It’s exactly my kind of story- a fic set in high school with an incredible plot and realistic banter. I love Edward’s parents in this too.  And did I mention it’s fucking hot?

“This was one.”

“One, oh, oh, one, what?” I managed as his roaming hands moved lower, his fingers sliding down my belly and exploring for a moment before he found the holy grail. I yelped and ground against him harder, needing him to keep touching the sweet spot right there that felt so, so good.
