The link for this was forwarded to me on Twitter and I dove in to see what all the hype was about… and I was pleasantly surprised with the twist that SubtlePen gave us. So much so that I said it in my review and then I may or may not have fangirled her a little bit via PM. Trust me when I say you’ll love this. The way SubtlePen writes is beautiful and intriguing and your heart will melt… and there might also be some influence on your panties as well… jsyk. I don’t want to go into to much detail because unfortunately it will ruin the entire thing for you. Just go read it!! I also wanted to say congratulations to SubtlePen for being chosen as the ‘Hosts Mention’ in the Love through Lemons contest, it was well deserved!!

Kassiah says: As soon as I started reading this fuckawesome story, I was instantly intrigued. It begins with two adopted teens messing around in their family pool in what is the first encounter for both of them. The lemon is hot, yet tender all while being mysterious. The running theme of keeping things “Simple” continues throughout the piece, with their relationship, their family, and when it comes to other people at school. I have to admit that I was really shocked when the participants were finally revealed, making me love this even more. SubtlePen’s use of realistic banter and well-described surroundings and emotions makes this O/S anything but simple. Bonus points for her use of cockzilla, a favored WotD

I really enjoyed the way that SubtlePen unfurled the plot – it begins under the guise of simplicity these two embark on their relationship. As readers we know that their relationship is far from simple, but we watch as they walk through this journey of self-discovery. I think her writing is superb and I am so glad she entered this contest and was discovered. As a special treat – she has expanded this one shot into two chapters by giving us an equally decadent JPOV.
