When I found out that SydneyAlice had written a new one-shot, I expected it to be sweet and romantic, and it was exactly what I expected.

It starts off with Edward talking to his daughter about his wedding day.His 7-year old daughter, Claire, finds it odd that Bella didn’t wear a tiara on her wedding day as all princesses are supposed to (she’s going through a princess phase).

This sweet conversation between father and daughter gets Edward thinking and he comes up with a valentine surprise for Bella.

I can’t say more as I will end up giving the whole story away but the one thing I will say is that the surprise is very romantic and made me feel all gooey inside.

The thing I really liked about this story was Claire and the questions that she asked.I am not a lover of kids in fanfiction as they often say things that I don’t think any real kid would say but Claire’s innocent questions and comments are really lovely.

This Edward is so sweet that by the end of this story I was left asking if I could have one.

If you fancy reading something romantic and cute, then I definitely recommend Tiara.

So love is apparently still in the air or at least on my brain still, because what I want to talk about this week is a one-shot that celebrates our favorite couple and love in all its surprising glory.

The first one causes major swoony-sighs. It has a lovely Daddyward and his sweet baby girl, Claire who are conspiring to give Mommy a special princess Valentine’s Day surprise. SydneyAlice in Tiara gives us a simple story of a young couple whose wedding was not the stuff of dreams and her two favorite people try to give her a more memorable one on Valentine’s Day.

The conspiracy begins with a simple question.

“Did Mommy wear a tiara at her wedding?”

We were sitting around the kitchen table, me with my laptop and my beautiful daughter with her pencil. I was reviewing a contract while my little girl was painstakingly writing her classmates’ names on her Disney Princess Valentine’s cards.

Yes, this was serious business.

“You know the answer to that,” I teased her. “How many times have you watched our wedding video?”

“Thousands and thousands of times.”

“Why didn’t she wear a tiara?”…

“Because Mommy didn’t marry a prince,” I said softly.

Instead, Mommy married her high school sweetheart who couldn’t afford to give her the wedding of her dreams. She’d had to settle for a small ceremony in front of the justice of the peace.

Edward decides to create a memorable Valentine’s Day with the help of his little girl.

“Claire?”

She looked up from her card.

“Will you help me with Mommy’s Valentine’s Day present?”

Her beautiful brown eyes sparkled, and she nodded enthusiastically.

The results are adorable and real and there is a tiara involved. Oh and there is some heat involved. *winks * Read and enjoy.
