Summary: Bella’s innocence was taken from her at a young age; the secret has dominated her life ever since. When she meets a reluctant vampire, Bella decides to ask his help in seeking revenge.
“Doesn’t matter.. My body is broken and I‘m damaged. Edward will never want me.”
Jacob’s fingers trailed through the wayward strands coming undone from the butterfly clip in my hair. I almost leaned into his touch but it felt too warm compared to Edward’s, so I kept very still.
“What do you mean, honey?” he asked in a softer tone, almost a whisper.
I still couldn’t bring myself to look up. My eyes were scrunched up tight against the stinging tears threatening to fall. “Because of Jimmy,” I muttered, “because he touched me when I was little.”

Summary: Edward’s rebellion began for a reason; it still holds true and brought him to Italy. His life’s been predicated on revenge for decades; forgiveness seems impossible. When he meets Bella, only a winter separates him from his last prey and his own destruction.
Bella smiled her surprise. “Harry’s Bar? I’ve heard about it, but I didn’t know where it was exactly.”
I opened the door and escorted her inside. I gave her a note: “I recommend a Bellini.” Obviously I’d never tasted it, but according to the tourist guide, the white peach and Prosecco wine cocktail –named after a Venetian painter– was one of the best beverages in the world.
When she followed my advice and I saw her sipping the cocktail, I didn’t envy the humans who could enjoy the pleasure of a fine drink. I envied those lucky white peaches that could pass her lips.

Summary: When fate brings a jaded young doctor to the small town of Forks, he expects nothing out of his stay but a shot at redemption. Little does he know that a new patient and a mysterious young woman will turn his exile into the experience of a lifetime.
“You’re Emmett, right?” he asked, cautiously approaching the sweaty mess suspended on the weightlifting bench lest the boy would startle and hurt himself. “Need a spotter?”
“I’m…fine,” the Emmett croaked, though his difficulty with which he spoke belied his optimism.
“Here.” Edward left him no choice; moving in no matter what the kid said and putting the weight bar -which was heavy even for him- back into the brackets. “Let me help you with that.”
“I said I was fine,” Emmett grumbled petulantly, rubbing his sore arms as he sat back up. “And how do you know my name anyway?”

Summary: Summary:When Bella arrives at the mysterious Masen Island to finish her manuscript, she is faced with the resurgence of dreams and memories of the beautiful boy who glared at her all through high school. Now, four years later, can she solve the puzzle of Edward Cullen before losing touch with reality? *The next three chapters will post weekly for three weeks.
Edward kissed the tip of my nose. “I love you, Angel. More than I could ever express in words.”
“You did pretty good telling me without words last night.” I smiled shyly. Then I realized I was still naked under the covers, and a blush heated my cheeks. My thoughts turned to the way Edward made me feel last night, and my face burned hotter.
His lips curved into a slow, lopsided smile. “You’re blushing, Bella. What are you thinking about?” His index finger traced the contours of my face. “Tell me.”
“You. Us. Last night.” I kissed his finger as it passed over my lips.
“That’s all I’ve been thinking about for hours.”
His words sent a shiver down my spine, and my heart started beating faster. Edward leaned over me, stroking the hair back from my face. His touch was gentle, but fire smoldered in the depths of his amber eyes. He placed whisper soft kisses across my jaw and continued down the side of my neck. When he encountered the glass heart that rested against my breastbone, he kissed it before dipping lower to nuzzle his lips between my breasts. Despite the soreness between my legs, my body responded to his touch.
Slowly, he peeled back the sheet, uncovering my nakedness. My instinct was to pull the covers back up, to hide from his all-seeing eyes, but he sensed my intention before I lifted a finger and pressed his hand over mine.
“You’re beautiful to me, Angel. Every single inch of you.” His eyes remained locked with mine while his lips closed over one of my nipples.

He was quiet for too long, clearly thinking. “I’m sorry I didn’t call you the other night. I wanted to, but I couldn’t leave Ta…a friend behind. I know you think I’m an asshole, and I wouldn’t blame you for it. Just know I wanted to so badly.”
“Then why didn’t you?”
“I…I know this will sound like I’m making an excuse, but my phone died, and I had no way of charging it,” he said, running his hand through his hair. “Things are complicated in my life right now, but I wanted to see you after what I did…or did not do.”
“Did something happen?” I asked tentatively, not wanting to pry, but my curiosity getting the best of me. “Maybe I could help.” Though I wasn’t certain what help I could give him.
“No,” he replied too quickly. “I can’t….I’m sorry, I can’t.” I understood. He couldn’t tell it to me, and I had no right to feel dejected about it. “Not yet…not fucking yet.” He seemed to be convincing himself about something, so I just waited until he was in control again.
“Fuck, Bella,” he continued. “I don’t want to scare you away. I can’t afford that.”
“You’re not,” I answered, trying hard for him to believe me.

Summary: Edward Masen and Bella Swan, high school sweethearts who married young, have their lives turned upside down when Edward is “discovered”. Celebrity, tragedy, alcohol and excess dissolve what seems to be indestructible… or does it? Can love rise above fame and indulgence? Or does Hollywood truly alter what is good in a man?
He blearily opened his eyes sometime later as the smell of greasy food filled his nostrils. “Bella?” he called, his voice groggy and thick sounding.
Rolling over onto his side, he noticed the digital clock next to the bed. He’d been asleep for several hours, and his skull pounded with a headache.
He heard the water shut off in the bathroom, vaguely understanding that she was taking a shower, as he collapsed back onto the mattress. He scrubbed his hands over his face in an attempt to wake up more, yawning and stretching as he did.
The bathroom door opened and Bella stepped out with a towel wrapped around her chest, her wet hair clinging to her skin as she walked silently toward her suitcase.
He loved it when she was just out of the shower; the way her skin was so soft and smooth, the way she smelled like fresh laundry hung from a clothesline, the way she always seemed so relaxed and peaceful. “Hey, stranger,” he said as she bent over to retrieve something from her bag.
Startled, she jumped and brought her hand to her towel, hugging it to her tightly. “Jesus, Edward! Are you trying to scare me to death?!” she exclaimed as she caught her breath.
Laughing, he wrapped his arm around her waist and pulled her with him as he rolled back onto the bed. She shrieked as her world turned over itself, Edward hovering over her as her back landed on the bed. Joining in with his laughter, Bella playfully slapped at his shoulder. “Edward Masen, you are incorrigible! What am I going to do with you?” she said sarcastically as Edward ran his nose up and down the side of her own.
“Well, you kind of promised that you’d love me no matter what. You know, those whole vow things when we got married and all,” he said seriously as he dragged his nose over the creamy flesh of Bella’s face.
Her eyelids fluttered, loving the delicate touches he made just for her. Her hands threaded themselves into his hair as he laid butterfly kisses along her cheekbones. She giggled as his hands roamed across her body.
“You know, you’re getting pretty good at this distracting me thing,” she said, sighing into his ear.

Summary: A heart leads Bella back home to Forks… and to the brother of the woman who donated it.
“I’m so fucking tired of feeling like this,” I breathed.
“Panicked,” I answered, my mouth trailing along her skin, hoping to ease the tightness in my chest. “It consumes me.”
“It used to, yeah. But not anymore,” she said softly. Her head dropped as I kept kissing her, touching her, bringing her so close to me that no space was between us. “I see you, Edward. All the time now.”
Passion grew between us achingly fucking slow. I pushed all of the documents aside and sat Bella on the edge of the table. I ran my hands over her thighs until I reached the hem of her t-shirt.
“Edward…” she whispered, her hands moving to my hair.

Summary: “Let Love In” series, story 2. Ness decides to go away to college before her best friend Jacob can imprint. But when Jacob finds out she’s leaving for Seattle he can no longer keep his secret. Finding out the truth is just the beginning.
As I sink onto the sand next to Sam he shouts over his shoulder, “Embry, get your ass over here. And bring us some beers. Your Alpha is in a shitty place.”
I watch as Embry’s shoulders drop and he turns around, heading for the beer cooler. While Embry is in my pack, it seems that an older brother’s command has a little more impact in this situation than an Alpha’s command. He joins us, handing Sam and I both a beer as he drops to the sand. When Quil joins us, Embry rolls his eyes and gives Sam and I an apologetic smile, “Sorry, this stray dog followed me over here.”
“Hey, Jacob is my Alpha too. I care.” Quil glances over at me and there is a weird smile on his face. I know I’m in trouble before he speaks, “So did you have to push any stuffed animals off of Ness’ bed last night before you crawled in?”
Fuck. Me. I have no idea how Quil knows I stayed the night with her last night, but if he knows, then everyone else knows.
Quil is cackling like the Wicked Witch of the West. Before I can say anything, Embry butts in, “What are you laughing at, Quil? Your imprint still plays with Barbie’s.”
Sam snorts beside me when Quil snarls back, “She doesn’t play with Barbie’s any more. She’s moved on to baby dolls.”
Embry shrugs, “Same difference.” Glancing over at me he frowns deeply, “You stayed the night in her bed?”
I take a quick swig of my beer, hoping the cool liquid will make this conversation a little less awkward. “Yeah, but it’s not a big deal. I don’t even think she noticed.” I do my best to sound nonchalant, but the look on Embry’s face doesn’t help. His frown somehow deepens, but his eyes are far away, like he’s remembering something.
“She noticed.” Embry says, though he’s still seems lost in thought.
Sam asks the question before I can even start to form the words in my mind, “How do you know, Embry?”
When his eyes finally focus again, he glances at Sam then looks back over at me. “Because she finally got some sleep. You told me the other day she hasn’t been sleeping.” I don’t comment but he’s right, I did mention her not sleeping recently. Embry takes a deep breath, almost like he’s gathering up his courage. He locks his jaw and speaks through clenched teeth, “Look, trust me on this one, things are about to get a lot worse for you with Ness.”

Ahha, what did they find in the garage that they neglected to find, when Edward and his family moved into Bella’s house? Alice was very surprised. Edward is overwhelmed by what Bella does next.

Summary: Bella Swan is an aspiring sports writer and her first big assignment is to interview the league’s biggest, not to mention hottest, quarterback. Will Edward Cullen school her in the rules of the game or will she teach him a thing or two?
I let myself into my room and started opening boxes. A plus sign on this one, two pink dots on that one, a line on this one…they were all different. I’d start with plus, plus for pregnant was easy enough to remember. I chugged some water, which made my stomach cramp again. Ornery possible baby. Did you get that from your father or from me? God, what would he or she be like? Which one of us would they look like? Hopefully Edward. Would he want a boy or a girl? Did I want a boy or a girl? A baby. I couldn’t wrap my head around it. Maybe I shouldn’t, yet. I could just have the flu, after all. No use getting my hopes up until I know. Okay, calm down, Bella.
Right, now I’m focused. I need to pee. Can I pee? I can try. Okay. Which test do I take first? The plus one. And the line one, cause a line was a pretty easy thing to see. Those two first. Did I have enough pee for three? Did I have enough hands to do this without wetting all over myself? Gross. Well, if I did, I did. I was in for much worse things down there if I was having a baby, right? Okay, three tests now, three tests the next time I go. Perfect. And if I can’t do three, I’ll do two each time. No big deal. I could do this.
I took the EPT, Clearblue Easy and First Response tests into the bathroom with me, getting them open and ready. I just had to pee on the tips, no problem. I’d do one and set it on the counter and then the next and the next. I set up a mini-assembly line on the side of the tub. Grab left, hold right, pee, counter. That’s the plan. Here we go. I grabbed the first one and of course I couldn’t go. I had to go, I could feel that I did, but now I was thinking about it too much. Okay, relax. Flip on the water in the sink. Tinkling water, tinkling Bella. There we go. Victory! I quickly got the stick in the stream and set it aside, grabbing another. Perfect. And the third, did I have enough? Hopefully. Okay. Now what?
I washed my hands, careful not to splash on the tests. They weren’t doing anything. Did that mean I wasn’t pregnant? Yes, the box said five minutes but surely it should know already. Why did I have to wait? This sucked. I wanted to call Alice but she’d know something was going on with me and I didn’t want to tell her first. Edward needed to know. How would I tell him?

Summary: Leaving the rain behind, Bella starts over in a small, coastal town. One glimpse of her and Edward is lost. Is it love at first sight or something more? A story of risking your heart – risking it all – to discover what you had all along.
It was so like the first time she sang with Edward, shy and nervous yet thrilled to have him finally sing for her, as well. He’d sung one of her favorite songs, a song that still sent chills down her spine, and she could do nothing but sing it right back to him and watch as his eyes grew wide in shock and appreciation.
They’d set a precedence that night, and after that they began playing and singing for each other on a daily basis. Bella found that after jumping in the first time, much of her discomfort had disappeared by the time Edward sang her song for her. He said he’d wanted to have it ready when he proposed, but he simply wasn’t comfortable with the arrangement by the time they left for Savannah. Instead, it had made one hell of a birthday surprise.
Bella had insisted that no one buy her any gifts, and as he seated her on the piano bench next to him and began to sing his incredible words, Edward had smirked with the knowledge that he hadn’t bought a thing. As the first stanza fell from his lips and he reached the chorus, she gasped in awe at his words, tearing up when he sang the words ‘today and everyday’. Having his words inscribed inside her ring was amazing, but hearing him sing them melted her heart and left her a pile of goo on the piano bench. When he got to the line about saying hello in the café she lifted her eyes to his in surprise, falling in love with him all over again when she realized he’d captured his first vision with his remarkable words and created a song. He’d told her it was her song to do with what she wished, but after much conversation they’d realized that it was their song. When Edward was ready to share it with the world, they would.

Summary: The lies we tell ourselves end up hurting us the most. Ashes to ashes, dust to dust. In the end, no one is innocent. E/B
A sob bubbled up in my throat. I was scared, but at the same time, I was determined. It was hard work to keep up a façade of happiness when you were dying on the inside, and the will to keep my wall up just wasn’t there anymore. I craved the peace that was promised when you fell into death’s embrace.
A strong face with auburn hair and green eyes invaded my mind as my eyelids slid shut. The memories of Edward’s smug smile that could get me to agree to any crazy plan he would come up with, and those hands that had explored every inch of my body fluttered through. The I love yous, the you are everything to mes, and the I promise I’ll never leave yous echoed in my skull like a pounding headache.
My eyes snapped open, and the tears poured down my face. My emotions switched, and rage colored my vision. I stood up and threw the knife across the room, watching as it clattered on the floor.

Summary: Edward left Bella in New Moon to keep her safe. Not all monsters are immortal, and fate usually gets its way, no matter how hard you fight it. Carlisle’s thoughts suddenly became excited as he switched gears.
Edward, Alice and Jasper told me what happened. Bella was able to resist not only the scent of her daughter’s blood, but that of Charlie’s, as well. Extraordinary, son. We must look into this further. There has to be a reason for that, don’t you think?
I growled softly. “She’s not an experiment, Carlisle,” I hissed.
He shook his head quickly. “I apologize. That’s not what I meant.”
“What?” Bella asked.
“I’m sorry, Bella. I was just thinking of what else Alice told me, and my thoughts weren’t entirely clear on my intentions. Edward was just trying to protect you,” he explained. “In your own words, can you tell us about what happened after you met up with Alice and Jasper?”
As Bella told us how the four of them had climbed into the tree near her window and how she had not been tempted by the scents of her father or daughter, Carlisle’s mind began running through possibilities. I caught snatches of thoughts—about calling Eleazar, the word shield, and something about familial blood—but he was trying hard to keep them to himself. I decided to block him out as best I could, knowing he would explain when he was ready.
“Why is this important?” Bella finally asked, looking at Carlisle and then over to me.
“As a newborn, resisting human blood is the hardest thing to learn—even more so than controlling your strength and speed,” I explained, remembering her reactions to those things on our hunt. “It takes most newborn vampires a year before they are remotely ready to be around humans. You are less than a week into this…life, and you were able to do it with not one, but two humans in close proximity.”
“What if it was just a one-time thing?” she asked, worry written all over her face.
“So let’s take you for a test drive!” Emmett suggested enthusiastically. “Ya know, to see if you can resist them again.”

“Is Jasper Whitlock here?”
I can hear the blood pumping through my veins, a steady pulsing heat in the back of my head. It feels as if time has stopped, as the question hangs frozen in mid-air. Those four words threatening to bring our precarious existence crashing to the earth in an instant.
Edward doesn’t speak a word.
I can only guess at what is running through his mind, most likely the same thoughts that are running through my own. I know how much is at stake here. His secret. His life. Our future. For a moment, I feel as if I possess Edward’s supernatural senses. I can hear everything. My breathing sounds impossibly loud. The creak of the front porch as the man awaits Edward’s response, the barrel of Edward’s shotgun dragging along the floor as he shifts, ever so slightly. And at the top of my spine, the very real fear that Edward may do something terrible.
Summary: After a car accident Edward believes Bella is dead, but then the letters start coming, and Edward’s losing his grip on reality. Is Bella really alive or is his mind playing tricks?
I look around at our meadow, with its green grass, and multi-hued flowers and I’m angry again. Shattered again, broken, again.
“What kind of games are you playing?” I yell to the wind, anger and desperation seeping through my voice. “Is this even you? Why are you playing with my sanity? I can’t tell what’s real anymore. Am I imagining it all? The letter, the necklace, the ring, the voices. I don’t know what to think anymore Bella. If it’s you… if it’s really you leaving me these messages. Answer me. Talk to me. Prove to me that I haven’t lost my damn mind.”
I stand, quietly hoping, begging, pray, that you answer me, because the other alternative is unthinkable.
Nothing, the unmistakable echo of absolutely nothing.
My body slumps against a tree and on the cool wet grass. I’m angry with you, so angry, but hurt too. I know you’re here. I can feel it. The sensation of being watched, my heart beating faster because you’re near.
“Please.” I beg. “Please Bella. The woman I knew and loved would never have played with me like this.”

Summary: Bella is a successful airline pilot with a handsome boyfriend. Things aren’t always as great as they appear. A mysterious stranger and a flight that goes awry changes everything. Will she live to reclaim her once stable life or will she lose everything in the process?
When Bella made it to the 33rd week of her pregnancy, we decided that she would start on her leave of absence from the airline. It had become progressively harder for her to be on her feet all day teaching a class and she couldn’t maneuver to get in or out of the cockpit to take on any checkrides. The timing couldn’t have been any better if we had planned it ahead of time because she had just finished up a class of new hires and there wasn’t another class scheduled for at least two months.
The new house was nearly done, with just last minute decisions and final touches to complete.
It was because of these final touches that one Wednesday afternoon during the first week of May that I didn’t even give a second thought to the text I received from Bella which read: E ~ Headed to the new house to meet with builder. See you at home around 3. ILY ~ B.
It was now six, and I had been home since four. Where was my wife?

I pictured the look on his face when I began to move. It was priceless. His eyes became large and joyful. His face settled into a lazy smile and his head bobbed to the music and my movements. I loved it, he made me feel sexy and special. He was why I danced.
As I stepped into the bathroom, I began to think of my plan to destroy our friendship and for once I didn’t have to gag myself to bring up my dinner. It came automatically. I ran outside because I could be heard from my bathroom if I threw up. My brain kicked into high gear as I grabbed a juice bottle off of the counter as I ran by. I at least wanted something to rinse my mouth with so if I had to talk to anyone on my way back upstairs I wouldn’t smell like a trash can. I stood in the little cubby hole that Edward showed me years ago by the trash cans and emptied my stomach. After I was done, I swigged the juice, swished it around and spit it out, then drank from the bottle again.
I heard the last thing I needed right now, I heard Edward call out to me. I tensed and waited to see if he would go away but his voice just got louder as he called a second time. Then he tapped me on the shoulder. I dropped the juice to the ground and turned slowly to face him.

Summary: Punkrockward and Ballerina have been in love since they were four years old. But they must face the world and the journeys their respective careers lead them down…but can they do alone or will they fall apart?
I couldn’t help myself, I had to get to her. I took my usual route around the perimeters between our houses, I’m not sure who I thought I was hiding from but it was my routine and it felt nice to be back inside of it again. Once I got to her yard, I scaled the siding to the window of her room. I startled her when I showed up but she still opened the window anyway.
“Edward?” Bella’s voice cracked as she said my name.
Just hearing her sweet voice took my breath away.
“Move over and let me in.” I insisted and she followed my instructions immediately.
I crawled through the window like I had done a thousand times before but this time, it was all different, we were different.
Bella turned away from me as she tried to dry her eyes, but I pulled her back towards me, “Why are you crying?” My voice was anything but soft and caring.
She wouldn’t look at me, she just shook her head, not speaking. I turned her around to face me.
“Bella,” I said as I lifted her chin to make her face me, “Tell me why you’re crying, baby.”
Her eyes softened and the love I’d always known shone through in that moment.
“I miss you,” Bella whispered just as I pulled her into my arms. I held her as if the world were ending around us.
“Oh God, I miss you, too,” I whispered back as I buried my nose in her hair. I couldn’t help but inhaled the essence that is Bella. Fuck, I’ve missed that smell.
She cried and soaked the front of my shirt as I walked backwards to sit us down on the bed. Bella curled into my lap and I wrapped my arms around her like we were a ball of us. I never wanted to leave this moment when I had her like this; soft, vulnerable, and all mine.
“We can’t keep doing this, Princess. It’s killing me. It’s killing us. Why do we keep acting this way?” I finally spoke as I felt her hot breath on my chest as her face nuzzled into my neck.
“Because, we love each other too much,” Bella’s sweet face looked up at me through her lashes and the intensity in her eyes was unbelievable. I can see it all written all over her face. “It’s too intense between us and the real world only wants to tear us apart.” she softly confessed her thoughts.
“I can’t wait until we are old enough to be away from this place with all the demands and restrictions. Until we can be somewhere alone, as just Bella and just Edward,” I said as I ran my hands through her beautiful brown hair.
“How much longer will that be?” she asked so quietly that I’m afraid I thought it instead of heard it.
I grimaced because honestly, I didn’t know.

I never wanted Bella temporarily, and girlfriend was such a temporary title, I wanted her forever and until I was confident I could have her forever, I wasn’t going to give her that title. Black’s residence is not far from the club, so I opt to walk.
The day is dull and cool, reflecting my sombre mood as well as my dark grey coat. I blend into the crowd easily in my mourning clothes, chosen for appearance’s sake, but I appreciate their other value now. For I have spied the hypocrite walking purposefully ahead of me, and I intend to follow him.
He heads towards Covent Garden, where we met him a few days ago – in happier times. I recall the ecstasy in Bella’s eyes as she listened to the opera that night, and almost lose my footing. A rat-chaser dodges around my legs, and I know I need to focus on the present if I hope to amend the effects of the past.
The vicar appears to be deep in thought, watching his feet upon the road, avoiding the foot traffic around him by instinct.
He stops to buy a small posy of marigolds from a flower-seller. As soon as he has moved on, I approach her.
“A posy for your mistress, Sir?” she asks, raising a smudged eyebrow.
I eye the woman coldly and she drops her teasing gaze.
“That gentleman who just paid you – have you met him before?”
“What’s it to you, Sir?”
I place a coin in her small outstretched palm, dirt engrained in the lines and scrapes it is covered with.
“Yes, I know him. He buys a posy every day he’s here. He’s a man of the cloth. Prays all the time, is how I know. What he wants the flowers for, you’ll have to ask him. He don’t talk to the likes of me.”
I nod my thanks, and hurry after Black again. He turns a corner, and I fear I will lose him; but when I reach it, he stands a short distance away in front of a narrow alley, waiting for a barrow to exit.
His body holds the tension of a fiend waiting to pass through the gates of hell. Or perhaps that is just my fancy. His movements are furtive and impatient, and he rubs the back of his neck as though he feels my judgement boring into him.
If I could strike him dead with my ire alone, I would do it.

Summary: Edward Masen: Bounty hunter. Isabella Swan-Hunter: Bail jumper. He’s hired to bring her back for trial, but he’s not prepared for what happens once he gets a taste of her. Death, lies, betrayal, toxicity, hope, desire. Who will survive? AU/Lemons *Chapters post on Tuesdays
Isabella sleeps soundly. Only once during the night does she call out for Hannah—a mother’s plaintive cry of anguish. It tears into me, despite the fact that I have no understanding of what it might be like to have or care for a child. I care for this child more than I can express—she belongs to my mate, and her blood saved my life.
I want to do damage to the man that precipitated the nightmare in Isabella’s life. I want to slowly break each and every bone in his body, listening to his screams as his bladder and bowels let go. I want to kill James Hunter, first pinching his spinal cord together, paralyzing him. I picture his smarmy face twisting in agony, and I want to tell him before we begin that he’s being punished for Isabella and Hannah. I want him to know what sealed his fate.
The molding around the bedroom window crumbles beneath my fingers, my teeth grinding together hard enough to pulverize stone.
Isabella whimpers in her sleep. “Edward…” Her heart rate spikes sharply, her body twisting and turning in the sheets. The sharp odor of fear mixes with sweat, creating an unpleasant tang to her scent that disturbs me at a deep level.

Summary: Bella, a struggling student at Arizona State, returns to her dorm room one afternoon to find her boyfriend in bed with her roommate. Unable to look at either of them, she moves out of her dorm, seeking refuge at her parents’ place until she can find another room to move to. Since it’s halfway through the semester, there are no other rooms available, so she takes to the classifieds. Just how good is the view being advertised?
I’m starting to lose all hope that I’ll find a place, and contemplate not calling the one ad I have left for fear of being disappointed, yet again. I look at the ad I’ve circled and read it again:
Rm w/ a Vu
Looking for roommate
to share 2 bdrm house in newer
Must be tidy. No pets.
If this is you, please call (480) 555-1367
I don’t know why I do it—habit at this point, maybe?—but I dial the number and hold the phone to my ear as it rings. The fact that it goes on ringing leads me to believe that no one will answer, but just as I am about to remove the phone from my ear, I hear a light click.
“Hello?” The voice shocks me at first, mostly because it belongs to a guy. So far, all the ads I’ve responded to have been females. I’m not sure how a male/female roommate situation is supposed to work, and I’m also not sure I’m entirely comfortable with the idea either.
“Damn it.” The irritation is clear in his voice, and I realize that I haven’t yet spoken.
Before he can hang up, I jump off my bed and begin to pace the floor before I speak up. “Wait. Sorry . . . Hi.” I run the fingers of my free hand through my hair and take a deep breath.
There’s a light chuckle from his end of the phone, and there’s something about it that forces me to sit back down on my bed, the hand in my hair dropping into my lap. “Hello.”
The corners of my lips turn up into a smile, and I exhale a relieved half-sigh-half-laugh. “Hey.” I can’t help but let the smooth sound of his voice envelope me like a warm blanket.
“Can I help you with something, Miss . . .?”

Summary: OOC. AH. An outcast who had everything, but eventually lost the one thing that was truly important to him. She was back and her presence would turn his world upside down again. ‘He needed her but she left him.’ Mature content. E/B
She was sobbing, and my heart clenched from her cries.
“I’m sorry,” I cried gruffly, holding her tightly to me. I wasn’t sure what I was apologizing for – the cause of her acting this way, or preventing her departure from my apartment – even if it wasn’t because of me.
“I’m so fucking sorry,” I repeated, kissing her hair. Or maybe I was apologizing for all the pain I, myself, caused her.
I held her until her sobs quieted down, making me relax a bit. She slumped against me, letting me know the drive to continue this madness had left her. When I carried her bridal-style toward my bedroom, she didn’t protest, not even when I laid her down on my bed. Her hands gripping my shirt didn’t loosen, however, and I took it as a sign not to leave her.
“Bella, is this okay?” I couldn’t help ask. I didn’t want her to hate me more than she already did.
“Yes, stay with me,” she whispered so softly. I smiled in reassurance. She just stared at me through her lashes that were still wet from her recent sobbing; she looked so tired.
I reached to caress her cheek. “Sleep, my Bella. I’ll never leave you,” I said.
“Thank you,” she whispered back, before closing her eyes to finally succumb to her exhaustion.

Summary: A weekly posting that is an exercise in lemon writing. As authors we’re often challenged with writing a complete story, but we have the need & desire for lemons. This is a outlet to work on those skills. So stretch those lemon muscles & squeeze our lemon.
This week we are blushing with a returning squeezer, britchick69. Enjoy the teaser!
With a feather light touch, she stroked the contours of my neck down, following the lines of my collar bone and then down the centre of my chest; my eyes closed in response. She swept along the underside of my breasts, my skin erupted in goose bumps, then making circular motions with one finger ending at my nipple, by the time she’d finished, my buds were tight and aching for her attention. I watched as she held each of my breasts in her hands, massaging them, rolling my nipples around between her finger and thumb. My hands reached out and took Alice’s pert breasts into my own hands, I matched her movements, massaging and tweaking her nipples, I watched as goose bumps broke out across the surface of her skin, making her nipples tighten further, I needed to feel them in my mouth.
“Fuck, Alice, I need to suck them.” She moaned slightly at my words, I dipped my head and flicked her erect peak with my tongue before sucking her gently into my mouth, my finger and thumb never left her other, I swopped over to pay equal attention to the other side. She groaned at my actions, my body responded with building excitement.

Summary: A NYC barman views his mind reading as an isolating cancer, until he meets a lonely 28yr old trying to escape her sad reality. His life is full of harsh lessons. Hers an uphill battle, so she never complains when a beautiful boy treats her badly. EXB AH
Several minutes later, Edward appeared beside her. He didn’t look impressed.
“Hey, baby, where’s my Cherry Coke?”
Edward leaned over and kissed her softly on the lips, lingering just long enough to turn it from polite to hot. Bella blinked, trying not to think about where else she’d like him to kiss her.
“At the bar,” he said, standing up straight.
“Why didn’t you bring it over?”
“You’re not sitting here,” he said in a don’t-argue-with-me tone.
“I’ve got news for you, Sugarlips, but I am sitting here,” she said, gesturing to herself in the booth.
“Not for much longer.”
“Bella!” he said, shoving his hands on his hips and mirroring the image of mini B in his head. Edward loved watching mini Bella in his mind, and she was standing her ground.
Bella fought her smile. She realized what Edward was doing with his stance and then felt silly for acting like a petulant child in her own mind.
Edward looked over his shoulder to check Jasper was handling the bar without him.
“Come on. I’ve got to get back there, and I can’t concentrate with you sitting out here all night alone.”
“Don’t be ridiculous.” Bella found it hard to sound tough when she was looking up at him from her seat. He seemed to tower over her.
“I’m not. I don’t like you sitting out here away from me.”
“The bar is perfectly safe,” she replied.
“Tell that to Emmett,” he countered.

Summary: You don’t get over Edward Cullen. Even when he was never really yours. A story about wanting, needing and, eventually, knowing. AH. Inspired by Jan 2012 Witfit prompts. Updating daily.
The noise of the bar is grating on me and I throw bills down and walk through the night to my hotel.
In my room, I pace. I stalk from the door with its peephole and ‘In Case of Emergency’ information notice across to the picture window overlooking the black carpet that is Central Park.
I turn on the TV, flip through channels and turn it off again.
I don’t know.
I do know I’m never going to get to sleep with all this pent up frustration. I don’t like mysteries or ambiguities and Bella Swan is a fucking puzzle wrapped in an enigma and she’s driving me crazy.
I head to the bathroom and crank on the shower. I strip as the water heats and steams up the room.
The shower might be my favourite part of staying at the Ritz; it’s a huge dark marble space with brushed nickel fixtures, rain showerheads and wall jets. There’s even a built-in seat which I’ve made good use of with one lady or another on previous visits. This time I’m simply hoping the heat of the pounding water will lull me, wash away this feeling… whatever this is.
I step in and turn my face up to the spray. Thinking about previous romps was a bad idea. Now I’ve got visions of Bella in the shower with me. My cock twitches and comes to life.
What would she be like?
They say it’s always the quiet ones. And she’s one of the quietest girls I’ve ever met.

Summary: Bella Swan has a major crush on a major star, Edward Cullen. They have an obsession with the same game. Can they connect through Words with Friends and become more than that? Time will tell!
I finished packing up my toiletries and made my way downstairs to where Edward was standing by the front door, looking lost in thought. “What are you thinking?” I asked as I placed my bag with all the rest of them. We were officially packed up. I hated it.
He wrapped his arms around me and I snuggled into his chest, breathing him in. “I was just thinking that I don’t want anybody else to use this place. It feels like ours now.”
God, were we on the same page or what? I tried to laugh but it came out a strangled cry. His arms tightened around me. “I know,” I agreed.
His fingers were under my chin, guiding me gently to look up at him. I tried to blink the tears that were ready to spill away. I didn’t want to make this any harder than it was. Edward looked upset. “I’ll buy it for us, if you want,” he suggested.
How cute was he? I had to laugh even as the tears started to fall. “I don’t know that they’ll sell you one cabin, Edward. And anyway, it’s not the place so much, although it’s great. I’ll just miss being with you alone like this.” So much.

Summary: EPOV Companion Piece to Words with Friends. Movie star Edward Cullen is done with women and focused on his career. A stranger reaches out to him via Words with Friends. Will her words change his mind?
Bella groaned. “Please do not haul ass home to prove yourself.”
Hell no. “Yeah. We’re in no hurry to get back.” Bella squeezed my knee in understanding and Rose looked less excited.
“I know. Fucking school. I wish we could just head to Europe with you now.” Rose frowned but then smiled suddenly. “How pissed would my parents be if I dropped out with five weeks left?”
“No, Rose.” Bella’s voice was pure steel.
“I know, I know, but it’s a fun thought.”
“Well, can it because my dad would hunt us both down if we did something like that. Five weeks isn’t that long.” Bella’s voice trembled a little and I kissed the top of her head.
“I know. I don’t even know why I’ll miss the big lug so damn much anyway. He drives me crazy, but in the best way,” Rose sighed. She smiled as Emmett emerged from the building. “Don’t tell him I said that.” Her eyes met mine in the mirror and I nodded.
Emmett came around to the passenger side, scowling as he slid in. “Fine, Rosie, you can drive.”
“I don’t believe I asked this time,” she informed him, pulling out and heading down the mountain.
“I’m just letting you be in charge.”
Rose laughed. “In case you hadn’t noticed, I’ve been in charge all week.” Nope, I didn’t want to know. Emmett’s smile said plenty.
“That’s because they were your handcuffs. When we use mine…” I smacked him as Rose and Bella laughed.
“What?” Emmett demanded, glaring at me.
“There are some things we don’t need to know.”
